Status update: I feel a lot better today, so hopefully the mock draft will be worked on today.

 

And my aforementioned post that might help you will come out this afternoon (I know you're a Pacific timer), in case you wanted to see that before you posted your mock draft. Or you could do yours and we could see how well my references match up with yours.

 

Well, I have some homework that I need to get to first, so you'll probably get your next post in before the Mock Draft. And it may or may not influence my decisions on who should take who.

And the Helmsman Trophy winner has just been named. And it looks like said winner will be a pain to me once again (like his real-life counterpart).

 

With all this draft discussion, the real question is whether Falene Trieste will enter the draft.

Falene is not in the rankings posted in the library thread, though she was in the original rankings in the game thread. Hmm, Trieste, what's going on?

 

He put an asterisk in the game-thread one saying that she didn't declare for the Draft.

 

No, that only said "draft status not yet declared", meaning that she hadn't made an official, public decision either way.

 

Like I said, don't get your hopes up.

I never said I wanted to draft her. Like you said, I've got a good defense, and my entire back six is secure for at least another season on contracts. I just want to see if she tosses her name into the hat.

Jedi Gunny is correct--HSN included her without draft status being known. I intend to make things on that score clear soon.

And VERY surprising Helmsman nominees. However, the winner is very unsurprising given the bunch. It's adds some draft drama. Who do GMs trust: HSN or Helmsman voters?
