My preseason power rankings don't seem to think so, jcgoble3, so therefore it must mean that you will make the playoffs this season.

And Trieste, I don't know whether to be happy or alarmed by my inspiration there.

 

"Uncle" Ted Miller, as we so affectionately call him, does the ultimate Pac12 road trip every year, so that was my main inspiration for this, but the power rankings spurred me on.

Also, after reading your last post Jedi Gunny my first thought was: MCKERTY SMASH.

My second thought was, "Reena will be back week 4 or 5...wait, I play Coruscant week 5. I sense a trap..."

 

Wait, really? I didn't even look at the schedule before doing the diagnosis. How ironic.

 

True story time, folks:

Today at work I had to generate a random number to select a survey winner. Naturally, I used the same dice roller I use for ELL.

The first time it rolled a number I checked the corresponding winner. They didn't bother to finish the survey.

The second time it selected someone who kind of wasn't eligible to win.

The third time is selected someone who we couldn't be the winner for internal reasons.

The fourth time it selected someone who didn't input any contact information, so I couldn't tell them they'd won.

Finally, on the fifth try, it actually gave me a valid winner.

...yeah, I think maybe all our complaining about the dice roller might be accurate...

 

I demand a redo of the past 5 seasons!

 

It's actually not the fault of the die roller if the sample population is potentially impacted in any way by false information or lack of information. Therefore, if the bad samples are removed from the population, then the die roller would be perfectly applicable.

i.e. why we got rid of Vandelhelm. Phil Brooks disqualified the Jets.

I figured as much. Clearly, any wrongs the rest of us suffered prior to that are completely minor and inconsequential if they didn't also affect the the Mercs.
