I have considered changing the Mercs name or colors before.

If I had better design skills, I would do a new logo as well.

    >.> What graphic design classes? *casually hides them*

I've been meaning to finish designing Ylesia's since I started. Didn't get past the concept stage.

Would you change the name Bardan_Jusik of the Mercs to the Nulls? :p

The logo would be pre-made for me. :p

But changing the name so soon after the team's founding would be a tad...fickle. So the Mercs it will stay.

    Oooooooooooooooooh.

So tomorrow I will be announcing the Bak10 winner (I don't know who it is yet), but after what happened tonight, I can guarantee you that it will *not* be the College of Deredith & Millicent. However, Kane Liffin is now my favorite head coach of CD&M. In fact, I've decided he's going to coach there forever (and given Bakura's health system, that's a real possibility). I'm never letting him leave. He's the greatest thing to happen to Colonial limmie in forever. Thank goodness after John Talley bolted for the pros they hired him. :D

And Nar Shaddaa slips into the playoffs with a losing record. Wow.....

So clearly, given the history of conferences in this game, the Smugglers are probably now the odds-on favorite to win the Cup. [face_laugh]

And of course the Miners pull out the end of the season--to absolutely tank their draft position.

Either that or Ylesia. Unless Euceron decides not to tank this time around. ;)

Filling out an all-star ballot was way harder than I expected. I may not make this a regular thing if you guys find it to be the same. ;)

Nice to know you care about what happens in Week 9. :p

Also, draft order for the non-playoff player teams. Brackets indicates the team is not yet eligible for the draft.

Good to see you old friend! Things are going pretty well. Just about to start playoffs around here, so that will bring with it the requisite excitement. ;)

    --EDIT--

Yes, the purpose of this thread is for discussing the game...but sometimes a life event takes precedence over our games. As some of you may have known due to discussions in other parts of these forums, our very own Runjedirun had been pregnant during the last several months. I am pleased to report that there is a very healthy boy who has joined the Starkiller cheering section today. Congratulations RJR!

Because I am insane and apparently think that the more limmie the Miners play, the better (or I just want to forget this last season and how we were short of the playoffs yet still screwed ourselves out of draft position), I have three friendly games for the Miners (Stewjon, Naboo, and Nar Shaddaa). Since the Miners are idle, I'm going to go ahead and play the Stewjon game before the conclusion of the playoffs in IRL time just so as not to bunch my games not so much up against the draft and the two weeks of the offseason. As a result, I am allowing people this offseason complete freedom in scheduling their friendlies (as long as it doesn't conflict with scheduled or potential playoff games for your teams and the 275 regular season). Just tell me what day you want scores run and I'll do it to the best of my availability (it's very rare that I can't get to a computer at least at some point during the day to do a couple die rolls).

So just drop me a PM and we'll work it out. :)

    Congratulations Runjedirun!

Dubya_Scott, the Storm utterly failed to collapse in the regular season. They must collapse in the playoffs or nothing will ever be right in the world of limmie again. :p

    To-do list for today:
    1. Futures League scores
    2. Season award nominations
    3. All-Star ballot
    4. Write something IC

58 points in 8 games. By my calculations, that's 7.25 points per game. The next-lowest scoring team scored 12.25 points per game.

Yeah, I think they set the mark. :p
