    No!
I'm looking to move up into the second round. Available on the table is my third round pick, two corner backs, and/or a corner forward.

Specifics can be discussed via PM.

Hey, questions for everyone. I'm writing the season award post for Wednesday now that the voting period has closed. I have historically not reported the actual vote totals (mainly because I didn't want people who didn't win to feel badly about how many votes they did or didn't get). The only exception has been to obliquely inform you all of when there has been a tie in the voting. Since all ties are broken randomly, I figure that the team that loses the tiebreak deserves to know they could have been the winner. But back to not reporting the number of votes, this has meant that I have been assuming that you are all gentle, fragile flowers who can't handle the truth (and we all know that Beskaryc Taab can handle the truth). Maybe you all are actually much tougher than that.

Now that the preamble is done, here's the first question: should I release the vote totals with this year's season award post?

The second question is: when there is a tie, should the award be shared by those two players? Since we have a much smaller voting pool than a regular award ceremony, that might be appropriate.

Answering your second question first, I say keep things the way they are. One winner, ties decided randomly. It just seems more "realistic" for lack of a better term, as ties are not common in real life sporting awards.

The first question. It doesn't really matter to me, which I suppose is less than helpful. :p

Well allow me to throw a third question into the mix for the future: how do we want to define the criteria for the Salbukk? It's the league MVP traditionally but is it:
    1. The most valuable player in ELL; or
    2. The player most valuable to their team in the ELL
Those can, naturally, be radically different definitions. ;)

Highlighted in red is the way I vote on it, but I rather enjoy it being left somewhat ambiguous. Allows for more varied votes. :p

Most valuable player in the league. Teams sometimes have a Team MVP award for who they think is most important to them, but I think this should be for the best overall player.

EDIT: I'll be neutral on ties.

I am also open to trades if anyone is interested. PM me if you have an offer in mind, since I don't have anything in mind.

Sorry to sit on the fence (kriff, it's so uncomfortable!), but this is my first season so I don't really have an opinion!

    1. Yes, I'd very much like to see the vote totals. I can handle the truth.
    2. No, there should never be co-winners. That cheapens the award IMO.
    3. Leave it ambiguous and let people vote the way they want to. Basically, what Bardan said.

I have a right to be a flower whenever I want! I had a baby just over two weeks ago, so that side of me is prevalent right now, but I can take it :)

    2. No ties!

    3. What Bardan and Jcgoble 3 said.

And there's your preliminary Mock Draft. I'll keep it open for a while until the final draft order is determined next week (with possibility of trades before then).

Projecting the top two picks to come from the same school? Bold.

Citadel was just that good this year. ;)

Besides, who ever said I was right on these selections? it's a gut instinct.

Good point. I'l mess with things.

Speaking of trades, I'm willing to entertain offers for my first-round pick. Accepting second- and third-round picks, for those that want to trade up into the first round, as well as LFL prospects at any position.

I'd offer to trade you some of the Force's old players, but I don't think that'll get me much more than a bagel and some nachos in return. :p

    Seriously, though, I can try.

The shape of the bagel would represent my interest in that trade. :p

So we're still good with the nachos, right? :D Because you know who puts the cheese on them . . . or at least used to. :p

So I'm writing a post and I don't want it to dwell on our loss to the Pats. So I have a question.

In this upcoming all star game are we playing to win or to avoid injury?

We're playing for blood money credits. So hit hard and try and hold on for what should be a wild ride.
