I think that's one of the shortest posts I've ever done. It just reached a natural conclusion quicker than I had planned. But hey: I've got limited time tonight, so that's a good thing.

It certainly can't be any worse than the last offensive scheme was this season.

And I think you're missing out, even though I'll be the one getting whipped as a result of the die roller.

And the dates given for the Draft aren't consistent with the statement made above them in the game thread post from a few days ago. Tomorrow is the 2nd, not the 3rd, of October, and the rest of the days would be one day earlier than listed. However, we could also start on Thursday, which is the 3rd. Trieste

Now I have to think of suitable posts for the All-Star Game. Clearly I must make it decidedly un-epic to make next season's stuff, never mind how boring it probably will be, even more exciting and heartpounding.

 

Interesting observation, Gunny! You know what...I'm going to stand by the dates in the post. However, I will begin tomorrow so that if people choose to go earlier and circumstances allow, they may.

Yea, I think you forgot to mention the Starkillers when you mentioned the beginning of every other team's season.

I'm talking about the first actual, certified Player Character in this game to put the cheese on the nachos.

 

I certainly can't take credit for coming up with the idea. You all hatched this long before I got here...you just didn't realize someone like me would come along see it as a challenge and actually play it out. Wish me luck!

 

The cheese on the nachos joke must date back to . . . hm . . . 265 or so. That's . . . a long time ago. In a game thread not so far away.

 

At least 265, if not earlier. I think that the first use was me pitching the game to new players where I'd say, "You can be anyone you want with a relationship to the team: a player, a coach, an owner, a fan, a sportscaster, even the guy who puts the cheese on the nachos."

And Runjedirun I'm so sorry! Do you want something special for me to make up for forgetting the Starkillers in OP?

Rebecca_Daniels it was going to be either week 1 or week 2 based on who won the Final so one way or another the Lightning were going to return that visit early in the season.

 

I do remember that notion. That might have been included in the OP, now that I think about it. But since we're still truncated, it might not be visible.
