My StarBucks may not make the playoffs, but I consider my season as success.

I am expecting a similar result for the Mercs against the Monarchs this week.

 

Darn. I thought I had everything figured out! But hey, does that mean I'm John Denver in this?

Oh and Bardan, by the transitive property, if you'd be just as happy about beating the Monarchs, then I can assume that you'll be okay losing to the Miners at the end of the season. I know how much Taab loves the Truce Day game on Bakura already.

I don't have to dream, the only ever played out Super 16 game between PCs was won by the StarBucks.

Trieste I have special plans for the matchup with the Miners game. I wish we could make it the last game of every season.

 

Just ask jcgoble3 about that. If you wish extra hard for it not to happen, it surely will.

 

It's best not to tempt the God of Limmie Scheduling.

 

Shab. Next season it is going to be a mid season game, of little import because both the Miners and Mercs will already have been mathmatically eliminated.

 

In other news, the GCLA is now live.

 

Great now I need to adjust the Wiki again.

BTW... I am still working on getting the Wiki ready for us to start slapping info into it.

 

I have a library thread to make. Can't wait for OSU to go on its run.

 

Where is the wiki being hosted? Wikia? Assuming it's using MediaWiki, I have quite a bit of coding experience that I can lend to the cause, and I already have an account on Wikia under the name "Master Jonathan". I would be more than willing to help out after I get back from vacation.

 

Oh, regarding GCLA stats, as we all know I am error prone when it comes to doing stats and standings. So feel free to check me, especially those of you who now have a stake in the proceedings of the GCLA.

And man, we have FOUR leagues going at the moment. Mind blowing.

Actually, considering the kind of slow start we got off to here on these boards, no! But I'll say it once if I've said it a flibbertyjillion times: it's the players that make this game.

Now if only I could somehow start making money off all this...then I'd quit my day job!

 

I am waiting for someone to stat creating a fantasy league RPG based on what we do in the ELL.

 

If someone paid me, I would totally do individual player stats so as to enable fantasy Limmie. Because that would be so awesome. However, I will point out that nobody expressed interest in an ELL fantasy NFL football league, which would be as close as we're going to get.

 

Don't look at me. I actually don't do anything "fanstasy" sports related.

Well aside from create my own teams for a sport that doesn't really exist and takes place long long ago in a galaxy far far away.

 

I suggested that we should get someone to create "Elite League Limmie '13". Now available on all major consoles and PC.

 

Actually, such a game would be called "Trieste '13". I would make witty comments as the color commentator like, "I think it's safe to say everyone here is ready for a game of Limmie," and "The team that wins today is going to be the one that scores more points."

 

I could come up with all kinds of good Maddenisms from the older games. Yeah, I'd be the sideline reporter who talked more about the crappy weather rather than important stuff. You know, because that's what most of them do in real life anyways.

 

So what is the bigger matchup this week: Senators/Smugglers or Storm/Chiefs?
