It also makes us wonder if our coaches and players are really safe from being snatched up by NPC teams . . .

I fully expect there to be expert analysis given on these news stories within the week.

And then we can leave our comments at the bottom of the page that often have nothing to do with the story a la ESPN.

But the rumor mill has definitely added a new dimension to the game. Either that, or the NPC teams are desperate for new blood on the coaching staff.

 

So if the Miners win next week, I am essentially denying Vesper the greatest happiness she has ever experienced in her life, personal or private.

I'm not sure if guilt-tripping the GM is a good move, or a potential disaster waiting to happen . . .

 

This offseason is going to be EPIC. I can guarantee it.

 

Trieste, I'm probably not going to do anything with the Gundarks in the playoffs. I'm falling way behind on having things ready for the end of the season and need to get cracking on that within the next day or two. I intended to start on the climax post by mid-February, but now March is almost over and I still haven't started the actual prose. I need to get it up no later than April 15 since I will be gone the 16th through the 18th and I want it up before the draft. It doesn't strictly need to be posted after the Storm's season is over, so playoff games are not the issue that they were last season; it's just that I won't be able to do much with them.

 

I didn't think that you'd do anything with it, but I thought it'd be a nice headline.

 

Looks like Kether is on the hot seat. Will we see another NPC team jettison their coach?

 

What an underwhelming set of games today. Hopefully the Conference Finals are a bit more competitive.

My team's on their couches. They want better games to watch.

But, anyways:

Antilles Formation vs. the Comeback Kids of Nar Shaddaa

Should be a good slate next week.

 

Euceron gets revenge for last seasons playoff loss to Ylesia and now the Smugglers will once again be forced to play the team that has traditionally been a thorn in our playoff hopes. That only seems fitting. That is how it should be.

 

I expect to see epic posts from both of you. Should be a good one.

Indeed.

Although, am I the only one that thinks an NPC vs. NPC Final would be fun once? We could spend the whole week finding creative ways to make fun of them.

Oh and I'm waiting on Trieste to post the draft schedule. I have some things going on in RL around that time; they probably won't interfere, but they might.

If that happened, I think we would petition to skip that whole week than just go to the Draft week.

 

I wouldn't mind skipping Finals week if that ever became the case. No matter who makes it to the Final, everyone wins, because we're going to have a Player vs. Player contest that I think will be really rewarding.
