Finally, I know. Just handed my last project of the term in today so I thought I'd finish the post I've been writing for, oh, a week and a half? And I even updated my roster.

At least it's warm rain.

 

I'm hoping it floods may give Ralltiir an advantage since most of the team has been swimming together in Martin's pool.

 

It would make the most sense to have rain at a Lightning-Storm game.

Rebecca_Daniels, I need your new LFL affiliate ASAP so I can prep for the 277 LFL season. Just a team name is sufficient.

Speaking of which, last season, you guys voted to go back to a ten-team league. However, that would require adding two NPC teams, which is impossible because, with the addition of Ryloth and Gunny/Vehn's joint plans for the C-Bucs, there is only one true NPC team in the Elite League, and it's a first-year team (I deny any knowledge of their past ELL experience and specifically deny that they won back-to-back Cups ). It is also too late in the offseason to try to add new player teams and expand the league that way (I blame my computer problems for not getting things rolling earlier). Therefore, we will continue to run an eight-team league.

Also, there was discussion last offseason about where to place the ELL All-Star Game, either midseason or after the season. A few players were leaning toward moving it back to the end of the season IIRC, and I agree with them because it would make LFL scheduling and bonus roll administration easier, and it would get the LFL started a week earlier due to not having to play during All-Star "week". However, last season the discussion came up after ELL Week 2, which was too late to adjust the LFL schedule, which would have had to start in ELL Week 2 without the midseason All-Star break. So if people want to move the All-Star Game back to the end of the season, now is the time to discuss that. If we do so, I need to know by next Wednesday so that I can prepare accordingly.

 

I support an end-of-season ELL All-Star Game for the bold reason above.
