I wanted to do something with the "whole chicken" but I hadn't established enough of Pedro's personality yet and wasn't quite sure what Star Wars animal to substitute for the chicken.

I also wanted a pair of old groundskeepers going about their work saying how "osikla" the team was, but they never went on a losing streak. I am saving that bit for later though.

In other news, after discussion, Jedi Gunny and Vehn will continue writing for Hapes in 278, which will continue to be an NPC team. Inviere and Chambers-Vayne shall ride again.

 

Trieste: What are we looking at for draft dates? I'm considering an impromptu overnight trip Thursday into Friday next week and am trying to figure out if it will affect my ability to draft. I have until Monday afternoon to cancel my hotel reservation without losing the deposit.

Oh, and speaking of Saturday, I ought to get the LFL scores up since it's Championship Week.

 

An idea popped into my mind. You know the NFL Network and other sports channels often have teams that seem to epitomize a certain decade of the sport. For example, when I think of the 1960's I think of those great Packers teams, the Baltimore Colts, then the 70's roll around and we're on to the Dolphins, the Steelers, the '76 Raiders (I know, give me some John Madden love), and so on.

How would you guys feel about having a vote, similar to the all-star ballot, of the best team by decade since say the 240s. I know some of you weren't around for the games back then but I thought it'd be a fun thing to do until the draft starts. Thoughts?

Edit: This idea was spurred on by noticing that the Miners have been to three Finals in the last decade. That's pretty rocking.
