Two things everybody:

1. jcgoble3 that lawyer letter is scary. Sydney Talon is not touching that with a 49 1/2 foot pole.
2. Stephen Colbert talked about the Force Awakens trailer last night and he said something that has to do with this game (by the way, haven't watched the trailer still, just his coverage):

In talking about the black Stormtrooper and then transitioning to talking about Ferguson, MO, Colbert said, "What are you so upset about? We just gave you the Jackie Robinson of Stormtroopers." Wrong! Jackie Robinson broke barriers, especially in sports. See, to my knowledge, a Stormtrooper has never played an ELL game. The closest we came was Dorf Landa, who had previously played for Bastion Imperial LC. However, he was not a Stormtrooper. So what I'm saying is that this game can provide the REAL Jackie Robinson of Stormtroopers when a Stormtrooper plays on an ELL team. Seriously everybody, get on this. Then we'll get in the movie because how could J.J. Abrams not include the Jackie Robinson of Stormtroopers if we write about it here? I can just see it now: "Yeah, I play for the Denon Demons in the Elite League." "Aren't they terrible?" "Why do you think I'm a Stormtrooper? I have to pay the bills somehow." And this is how I get an Executive Producer credit in the movie.

I know, I'm a genius.

 

Don't people look at me to do that. Coruscant isn't interested in stormtroopers, despite past transgressions regarding them. Make the Minertroopers (jcgoble3 and Tim Battershell know what I'm talking about ) do it.

 

Hey I had a whole team of former Clone Troopers.

 

The Jackie Robinson of Clone Troopers does not sound as cool. Also, you would have had to have figured out which one was the Jackie Robinson.

 

Clearly it was the one that looked like Jango.

 

Unrelated, but I just discovered I'm going to be out of town for the Galactic Cup game, going to Toronto for a thing. Every single season, I swear...

Eh, the Miners will probably make the Cup Final once again out of the Solo, so it's probably of no consequence.

Let me be the first to congratulate you on winning the title this upcoming season then.

 

I thought the Storm were already the shoe-in for that title.

Because if the Mercs can do well while tanking, really tanking = a Cup.

Runjedirun When I read about the Vigo family, the Noble House suddenly looks exceedingly normal and well adjusted. I love it! Their family life is so...vibrant.
