First off, congratulations to both CPL_Macja & Bardan_Jusik for what I feel is an incredibly thrilling Final score. I am saddened to think that we had to have a loser but I think this Final means a great deal to both of you all the same because it shows that with perseverance, anyone can make the big dance.

On a side note: Here is the reaction from the Vertical City as the bitter enemies, those bucket-heads, win it all.

Bardan_Jusik that post is one of the best right there, the way it went through various branches of the Mando'ade and their lives. So well done. It only whets my appetite for the Rancor Pit post. Especially Kitteritch.

 

Thanks, glad you liked it. I have some of what I am going to post for the Pit in mind, but I need to flesh it out a bit more.

 

And now it's on to the offseason! Where new champions can be made.

It's been out there for a long time. Don't know its origin, but it's probably a mix of 'sale' and 'fire drill'.

 

You missed my point. I know where firesale comes from. I was making a Calvin and Hobbes reference (see here for context).

 

I hate the Marlins. Actually I just have a lot of free agents and some of them are going to try to cash in now is all.

 

Damn make-pretend athletes and their high cash contract demands.

 

Makes it more fun, especially for a small market team like the Mercs.

 

Is it bad that while reading that superb post, that's not even a great way to put it because it was frakking epic in the way you have snapshots of different Mandalorains, that I myself was humming along to the song and nearly wanted to shout OYA! ?

So a question for everyone: when would you like to see the Mock Draft posted? The Draft starts tomorrow most likely, but I probably won't get my post up until Wednesday, so it's possible that there are two days here before I make Pick #1 (or someone else does if a new team joins, in which case the Mock would be wrong anyways). Question is for it to be posted sometime today or tomorrow morning.

 

I have no team to draft with, so I have no preference.

 

I love seeing mock drafts so if you have the time it would be cool to see.

I also like the mock draft. If nothing else it gives me some ideas on who I should be looking at. Tonight or tomorrow is good with me.

 

I guess the question I need to ask myself is why I care so much about accuracy. Because "Mock Draft" and "correct" obviously don't belong in the same sentence.

I'll look at getting it up tonight. But if not, tomorrow will work fine. As well as the All-Pro teams.
