And, in another note, the Mock Draft is now up if you haven't already gotten a chance to look at it. That should be enough time to get draft plans figured out.

In yet another note, I am still willing to trade off my draft picks if anyone is interested.

 

I have a question for everyone. It's a bit of a jcgoble3 A or B situation.

I am considering an idea for the 282 season. Would you like:

1. To know what it is so you can tell me if you like the idea?
2. Be surprised and potentially have to live with it for the season until I can change it in 283?

 

I want to know. Knowing now is better than not liking the surprise next year.

As for Trieste 's question. I like surprises, both of my kids were surprises. (as in I didn't find out the gender until the birth.)

Man, that end-of-season surprise party is just not going to fly with this crowd.

Seriously though, here's my idea. Of the feedback I received, an eight team all-player team league was the most popular. However, I know that people like the conferences and having four team conferences might not make that much sense...unless I do what CPL_Macja suggested a while back, which was give all teams home-and-away conference games in a 10 game season. This would help intensify conference games and contribute to conference rivalries. It also makes the season a bit longer without the use of NPC teams. We would go to a two week playoff where the top two teams in each conference make the playoffs.

If you have thoughts about this idea, I'd prefer them in PM so early voices don't predispose the discussion to one side.

 

Lots of action going on at the Draft already. And the first pick has yet to be made. I love it.

Think of the drama--a Mandalorian as the first overall pick of the Smugglers. That's going to set up an interesting dynamic come the Game of Rivals.
