Does this mean we will be discussing a "home field advantage bonus roll" for future seasons?

 

Uh oh, my next three games are at home.

 

Only if the Miners get a Truce Day home field advantage bonus roll of a flibbertyjillion. (Which they'd probably lose every year )

 

Since we're through four weeks already, only two weeks left until All-Star Weekend. So be prepared for that.

Which leads me to ask: is there still interest in the All-Star events (Rising Star Challenge/Skills Challenge) I play out? I noticed very little interest in the results/challenges last year, so if people are no longer interested, I won't add them in.

 

Thanks to conversation with Jedi Gunny I finally found my stride with my posts this season: the unwinnable, but always-to-occur, friendly debates about sports that we all engage in.

Don't mind a non-player jumping in real quick, but just wanted to say that I've recently begun looking over those All Star events in the game and I personally enjoyed it! Would be sad to see them go. But that's just my .02.

 

Well since Darth_Elu has shown up here, I suppose the nexu is out of the bag.

Darth and I have been corresponding for a few days about his interest in joining the game. I'm pleased to report I saw his character and team sheets this morning and have approved them both. I can honestly say that you will all find them..."interesting."

Jedi Gunny I was involved with the ASG and associated events last season because it made sense for my character. I would use the results for an upcoming post if we did them. It would be nowhere near the same level of involvement, but it would provide good grist for bar talk. After all, people at work were talking about the Mike Smith goal in the NHL All-Star Challenge--and they weren't even hockey fans!
