Thank you. I have to check it out. I'm not much of a sports person, but I'll check it out.

 

One could argue with the storylines that play out that we're not much of a sports game at times.

You are welcome to participate in whatever way you like, whether that's as a watcher or a player. As the GM, I'm here to help in any way I can!

 

This game has transcended being just a sports game. It is a full-blown soap opera/drama using sports as an anchor.

 

So....just like real professional sports.

Congrats on the win! I'm just glad that the Mercs didn't make a liar out of Shady and were able to keep the game somewhat close.

 

I nearly laughed aloud at that one!

 

Reading Christine's final post made me profoundly sad, yet a little hopeful. I pulled for her so many times, then I thought of all the real life athletes who were/are amazing that never made a Finals/Super Bowl/Stanley Cup....she will find her way. And I'll miss her. Hopefully she makes some future cameos @Jedi Gunny

 

Thanks! I'm sure she'll come around again. Old Senator players always have a habit of popping back into my stories without warning now and then, so I'm sure we haven't seen the last of her.

 

Old Senators never die...they just fade away.

Hey @Trieste, the awards ballot includes a Hapes mention on there. Some habits, like Senators, never die.

 

I just noticed that myself. I can understand an accidental Storm reference, but Bucs?

 

BAHAHAHA. Oh man. First a CPL accidental call out and now a Bucs reference. The worst thing is once responses are in I can't edit the survey without discarding data! For example, I didn't even spell Tomas's name correctly! This what happens when you get busy and try to rush your ELL time, folks.

 

Regarding my new GM’s statements about Senators players being available via trade, my roster in the Library Thread is updated to reflect the players who are still on the roster. I would be open to players or picks in trades; PM me if you’re interested and we can work something out.

 

I disagree that the Super 16 has been the best conference all season. Sounds like homerism to me.

Nevermind that The Fandalorian broadcasts on a world lightyears away from the closest Super 16 school. Move along. Move along.

We all know that the Bak10 was the best conference all season long. And there's no homerism in that statement at all.

 

Nah it's homerism, both hosts are from S16 worlds even if they broadcast from an SEC one.
