Guzan was great. Jones was great. He, of course, had his typical Jones mental breakdown, but at least it didn't result in a yellow. It probably should have, but that's another discussion. I hadn't realized that Beasley's closing in on 100 caps. A game of contrasts to the match against Honduras in so many ways.

Columbus Crew got a great win today. On the road, against DC United who were on a 19-game unbeaten streak at home, without their first choice striker (Jairo Arrieto, called up to Costa Rica), I would have been thrilled with a single point. Instead, thanks to a couple of miscues from Bill Hamid and the Crew being able to take advantage of them, Columbus got three big road points.

 

Blah Timbers have a week off.

Well, I guess the comparison were inevitable. Although, the Galaxy seem like they'd be more of the Empire establishment than the Rebel Alliance.
