Anybody else get "god of war" yesterday?

 

Nope. What is God of War?

 

A video game...
And kindof popular, hence the chuckle.


Though, I must admit to never playing the first two games, as I didn't have a Playstation. Now I've sledgehammered my 360 and made the switch to PS3, I figured I'd see what the fuss over Kratos, was all about.

 

I don't play video games. Like at all.

 

I have to say that I'm obsessed with Modern Warfare 2. Just awesomeness.

 

You are apparently not the only one...

 

I'm another big fan of the Modern Warfare franchise, simply brilliant games. Other than that I do generally prefer real life to videogames.

 

What is the big deal about Modern Warfare? I hear about it at work, at play, in my sleep. What's up?

 

I played the latest version of CoD and didn't finish it... but I do love the series.
There are just too many other NEW games. GoW is new for me, because I just switched consoles. Once I get bored with that, I'll go back and finish CoD. If you like FPS games, CoD is about as good as it gets along with SoCom and I guess Halo.

 

Yes, also a big fan of the Halo franchise, Halo 3 in particular.

MW 2 is just a game you have to play. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after a few days of playing it, I was hooked.

I was a fan of The Force Unleashed. I'm curious about the second one. I'm not sure how they're going to bring Starkiller back....

FPS... First Person Shooter
CoD... Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2
GoW... g-d of War 3
SoCom... well, its SoCom. (Navy Seals game)

And the reason it slipped your mind Charn, is because this thread hardly gets used anymore.
Nobody likes abbreviations, I guess...

Not usually a huge soccer (football) fan myself but I do love the festive atmosphere and competition of the World Cup. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the Cup. For those who are interested, here are some pictures that I took when I was in South Africa in March.
