oven is too small

    hi, i want to vacuum form but my oven isnt big enough to fit my sheet fo plastic in. how else can i heat my plastic?

    Heat gun? But it'll be difficult heating it evenly...

    Ask one of your friends really realy nicely to use their oven. ;)

    BBQ grill?
    Heat lamp at the local greasy spoon/Denny's?
    Hair drier?
    Space heater/fan?
    someone with bad halitosis?

    LukeSkiewalker probably has the best advice, ask a freind to use their oven.

    One heatgun would take forever to heat up a sheet of plastic, 4 might do it, but not too effeciently. and 4 heatguns will cost right near $100.

    You can build your own heating hood. James Thurston wrote a book called "The propmakers molding and casting handbook" that has great info on making your own heating hood. Nichrome wire can be purchased from www.Mcmaster.com .

    But the friend route is by far the cheapest, fastest way.
