I feel much older. And less wiser I should really start acting my age.

 

Pff. Why would anyone wanna act their age?

On the older note... People still don't believe that I'm 31.

 

I get that a lot, TrakNar. Mostly because people don't believe that I'm 31 and not having babies like the rest of my siblings.

 

I'm often asked if I'm still in high school.



Then again... Guess I still am baby-faced. Good.

 

I figure acting my age is good for me as long as I don't forget that I'm only acting.

 

Yes, lol, maybe only acting in certain situations. I'm 31 too! People don't think I'm too young... but I do get carded a lot, and I see a lot of places card if you look 26 or younger

 

Just a few days and I am 56. The nurse at the blood-donation remarked that. And one to go and I reach the 60 donations

I definitely do not feel 30

 

Sometimes, I feel that I'm committing a crime when I'm buying alcohol, as I still feel like a minor.

I'll be 48 in a couple weeks. Mentally, I feel younger, but physically... I feel older.

Still getting used to all the stuff we can do now, but it's great to see familiar faces.

 

It's a little odd to get used to but I'm really enjoying the boards so far

Eternal edit is awesome. But I have to wonder, if they reimport the data to fix the 10k limit issue, would that screw with stories updated before it's fixed?

I finished school this week. Mostly. I still have a 400-question final to take, but given that I scored no less than 98% on all my tests, I'm not too worried. Finally, I'm graduating something for the first time since high school, at the age of 31.

 

Oh dear... Hopefully it wasn't one of the topics that have been eaten by the bugs...

Can we edit our titles? When I punch the edit button on my first post it doesn't give me the option to edit the title.

 

DarthIshtar: Lazy posted a way to fix the links - do you have a link to your old story(ies)?
Jedi_Lover and others: Editing titles requires two steps as outlined elsewhere (I was the guinea pig, so I know this for a fact).

Step 1. EDIT your post
Step 2. MORE OPTIONS - when you hit this, at this time your title will come up and then you can edit the title

About "fixing" your truncated stories: it's been posted that a fix is coming. You CAN now edit your post and add in your missing parts BUT if you amend that in any way shape or form it will be overwritten when the system restore is done. If you ONLY add in the missing section, it will replace the words with the words that were lost - or no change at all.

I was lucky. Dana had to do a variety of projects and I was her guinea pig for the last one.

 

That's great, Dantana. You're never too old to learn. In fact there have been people who went to college after their children grew up and flew the coop.

So, is there going to be an over 30 writer's challenge soon?
