Owen Lars's Age...

In AOTC Owen Lars looks like he is in his late teens, early 20s. But if TPM took place 10 years before AOTC then wouldn't Owen only be 10 years old.

If Watto sold her, it couldn't have been before Anakin went to become a jedi so he couldn't be older than 10 years old because Shimi would still be in watto's possesion.

Owen is Anakin's step-brother, not half-brother, meaning that they don't share a parent.

Owen's mother was Cliegg's first wife, and not Shmi.

Yes. Owen is the son of Cliegg, and became Shmi's son when she and Cliegg married. So Owen is not really Shmi's son, at least not in blood.

No blood relation, so...Owen could smooch Shmi and not be as weird as his step-nephew (is that a word?) Luke and his step-niece Leia.

Well they are stepbrothers, I mean Shmi married Cliegg so Shmi became Owen's stepmother.
