The Republic Commando soundtrack is the only Mandalorian music I need.

 

Well the debate is over for if Canon Jango and Boba are Mando....and their not.

Even if your not happy with the answer at least we have an answer from Pablo.

 

Okay, paging Sinre... Time to get the continuity stitching team to work on this one; they are Mandos and there's a way to warp obscure canon details to make it so!

 

I think Pablo reads our attempts at still trying to make Legends and Canon fit together and he is like " How dod I make this as complicated as possible"

 

That is exactly what I would do if I was him

You know...I'll be very disappointed if Disney wiped away all the cultural details of Mandalorians and their history in the new canon. Changing their planet? Fine...making them all Human? I can manage...

But I swear, if they make stuff like ne'tra gal or the Resol'nare uncanon...I WILL NOT BE A HAPPY MANDO.

Don't make everything I've learned about them just wash away.

 

I'd say it's more a case of:

"they have already moved those things into Legends" - but, seeing as they're in the Holocron - there's a chance we might get them back."

 

I tend to look at it the other way, until it's directly contradicted on screen it's still canon to me.

 

Fully agree, the traditional mando TRON suits are canon until somebody say they are not!

 

I try to keep what I'd like to be canon separate in my head from "what I know is canon" where possible.

 

I do the same to tell the truth

 

Of course, what I'd like to be canon, is virtually everything - as a fan of the vast majority of the EU.

 

As Yoda would say, "Always in motion is the definition of canon."

Of course, that's what I think he WOULD say.

 

Just hope they keep Jango's backstory intact. Him being the leader of a mercenary group was quite awesome. But I also hope they keep most of the cultural details the same as well.

 

That would be ideal.
