I actually don't think the blue is as bad as the red.

It's not pure avoidance, but rather I'm tired having this same Kabuki dance back & forth concerning this topic when it comes up; I'm not going to derail this thread further by talking about it.

 

I've told you several times that I'm partially color blind. Colored text is really difficult to read, and makes my eyes strain. Ender is right... like, if I were to tell you that I was allergic to dust, and you came up and waved a filthy dust mop in my face... that's pretty much what your colored text is like, to me.

I asked you last summer if the blue would be okay to deal with, and you said it was, something to the effect that "if you're going to use colored font, at least use this".

 

I agree with Cor on this issue.

 

Yes, the blue is definitely easier on my eyes than the red was, but it's still pretty obnoxious, and totally unnecessary.

Jeez! I thought the question/answer didn't really work, but here it is:

If there were a great flood of the Internet, like with a bad virus taking down more and more sites, and the Internet gods of course designated you as Noah, and instructed you on how to build a cyber ark to ride out the virus until the new internet age dawns, what 9 JCCers do you take aboard your ark? The goal in mind being to repopulate the Internet with posts no one will ever read. Kinda like it is already!

This is gonna be a hard one:

I'd take Kristie (Harpua) due to her excellent taste in music, Maia (Zapdos) because, well she's awesome, Amy (SLG) because she'd keep everyone in line, Daveed (JTS) because we'd need a mod obviously, tom because we'd need a rapper with great facial hair, Patrick (Darth Punk) because he's my favorite cross poster, Wocky just SO WE KNOW WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE, Ender, and Tracy (AFS1983).

Can I do honorable mentions too? I just feel bad now because there are so many other awesome posters in the JCC.

Okay. Murder mystery time! Amy (SLG) has been IP banned from the Ark. Irreversibly so. For obvious reasons, everyone suspects Daveeeed. But you, as the Noah figure of this story, suspect something strange is afoot. Write a short short story in which you find out who committed the banning.



It was Wocky obviously. I mean come on, he/she/it has always had dreams to be mod.

You will never bee a better interviewer than Dave. The only way your interview will come even close to a F O M O is if you're actually interviewing Dave... he'll carry you. If you're interviewing Dave, I'm on board.
