In Chicago the G probably stands for something other than what you're thinking. NJ is referred to as the Garbage State.

Again, what the heck are Jimmies?

 

Jimmies are one of two things.


The first one is not for ice cream.



The Jimmies you want to know about are those little candies that look like even smaller versions of Tic-Tacs. They come in Chocolate or Rainbow colored.

 

I believe the common term is "sprinkles".

Does anyone call the chocolate crunch in the middle of ice cream cakes, "ants"?

I call them "jimmies" and I'm not even from Jersey. Us Pennsys must've rubbed off on your guys.

 

Are sprinkles then jimmies? I knew the other usage of the term.

Never heard of the ant thing either.
