    Yes, but normally each character's actions are resolved as part of their turn. Going strictly by RPG conventions, 1st Obi-Wan (because I figure he won initiative) would make a Force Push and Anakin would go flying (and possibly get stunned) before Anakin could reciprocate.

    Yep, but Anakin knowing Obi-Wan as good as he did could figure that Obi-Wan was going to attempts a Force Push and ready an action to counter.

    Or vice versa.

    Thus, both would be resolved simultaneously, much like a Jedi readying an action to slice a thermal detonator about to be thrown at him...

    Do you see Lord Vader delaying or otherwise sacrificing an action like that? o_O Still, I suppose it's as good an explanation as any...
    In this particular combat, I'd say that Obi-Wan won initiative, drew & ignited his lightsaber, and assumed Full Defense in anticipation of Anakin's charge & single attack action :-B
