Padmé's family... dysfunctional

    LOL! :p

    Have you seen the deleted scenes from the DVD? When Padmé gets home she kisses her sister and everything. Her sister says: I was so worried about you etc...

    But her parents are like "meh" and they keep on arranging the table for lunch! They don't even say hi or kiss their daughter who almost got murdered!

    I think that they could have a good back story for Padme family if they pursued it.I wonder if Lucas will bring them up in Epi3.

    I didn't think the her family was dysfunctional, they were more like clueless to what was happening to their daugther though. But maybe that was for the best so they wouldn't worry so much.

    I'm sure the memory was still fresh in her mind and she didn't want to think about it more than she had to. And I'm sure her parents realize this, and didn't want to make her relive it again.

    I think Padme's parents did not know about the attempts on her life. If I remember correctly, Padme's parents asked Anakin if her life was in danger.
