Sorry, if there is a diferent thread for this, but I couldnt find it.
This here is the Padmé Amidala/Skywalker fanclub.
The only requirement is to say your faverite thing about Padmé. Then your in!
My faverite part about her is that she is a strong leader, who tries to keep personal out of buisness

 

She is wise and looks for a diplomatic solution.

Hmm... my favorite thing about Padmé? It's hard to say. Ever since I was young, I related a lot to Anakin, and that included a liking of her. She's... calming. In such a turbulent galaxy, it's important for people like her to exist. She tries to do what's right at all times, and makes a good leader for Naboo. Her heart is always in the right place, I guess. She can also be badass when need be and looks nice too. What's not to like?

 

-Her good qualities is what I like about her.
She is compassionate.

 

She is smart, and isnt afraid to fight if thats the only way, but she will first look for ways of negotiations.
And she has an amazing wardrobe

 

I feel like if she and Anakin were able to have an open relationship he would'nt have fallen to the dark side. She seems well grounded compared to Anakin and knowing how stubborn she is she would've been more adamant about kicking some sense into the jedi to take Anakin's troubles more seriously.

She would've been a good mom too... T_T I'm actually tearing up. lmao.

 

Always have loved Padme! Natalie Portman was my celebrity crush for the longest time. I hope she's mentioned in VIII.

Her cool headedness and general badass-ery in Eps. I & II. Not such a fan of her portrayal in III, but an all round awesome character.

 

She's am excellent politician (the only one I'd trust ) and has an impeccable taste in fashion.

I definitely like her motherly, nurturing personality...but also that she can be firm and no-nonsense when she has to be.

 

I don't like her death

Before ROTS came out did anyone imagine that she lived to see Vader in the suit?

It's been on mind mind lately.

Do you think they were some regulation or rule that she was to have them or put on her by Naboo security/government?

I don't think she'd like people to put themselves in danger for her at least that's how i want to see it.
I doubt it would be something she'd request on her own.

Also what is everyone's favorite Padme portrayal?

Out of movies I think I choose TPM.
I like her portrayal in TCW at times too,

 

She did not like people laying down their lives for her, at least in my head canon.
My faveorite portrayel, I would have to say, is TPM, I enjoy her at some points in AotC and TCW, but RotS is not my favorite.
She looks to weak in that one, I was upset.

 

I don't like "losing the will to live" that is soooo Out of character to me.
The Padmé I like would never do that after giving birth. Plus she still had hope for Anakin apparently so it made no sense what so ever.

In my head canon the decoys were forced on her because she didn't won't like that.

Also another thing is the whole clone thing. In Aotc she was against military creation act. Afterwards we don't see a whole lot of disapproval.

In the TCW she did want to stop putting more money in the war and wanted it to end, but what about her thoughts on the Clones?

The character I see previously that was against slavery and war I don't think would like using Clones. I would have liked see her thoughts about that.Her character could have been used so much more. I want a Padme comic or book. It'd be nice to see her family more too in SW besides a deleted scene in AotC.

ROTS killed her off fast. I would have liked her living longer, not just after giving birth.

 

well if she had lived anakin would have come after her. there wasn't really a way to just hide her away.
i don't mind her losing the will to live after seeing the galaxy enslaved and anakin fall to the dark side, it's just why would anakin see her die in childbirth before he actually turned, when her dying was what turned him?

 

She was loyal and beautiful.

 

Is it against the rules to say she is unbelievably sexy. She had no flaws, at all. Most attractive in all the galaxy. Neither Rey nor Leia live up to her.

 

Well... Poe loves Rey, if that is your favorite thing about her, I guess it counts, but I would apreiciate it if you would add something else as well.
