You guys do NOT want to go there.

Between Traci and I we can COME UP WITH SOME PICTURES.

I even have a massive, extra speedy fast site to store them on... [face_devil]

Because we have a bunch of LOTR goobs running this site, that's why, Traci.

Yes, let's take this over to the Yet Another Starbucks Board. The folks here at TFN may get their panties in a wad over some of the pics that may get posted.

Sirius Black didn't look like the description in the book though.

And what about Lupin??? I liked him.

Sirius is the best character, but Lupin looked like his description.

True. They described Sirius as very thin and gaunt...Almost like Kierra Knightly with a beard.

Someone fetch that girl a sandwich.

No, but it was Gary Oldman. 'nuff said. :D

And Gary Oldman could act the Yellow Pages and make it interesting, so I'm cool with that. They keep getting all of these great actors for the Harry Potter films. Rickman, Oldman, Brannagh, Thompson, Smith, Harris, and now Fiennes... I almost expect John Gielgud to return from the dead just to be in the next one. (If only Richard Harris could.)

I didn't think he was that far from the description in the book--the dog, however, was nothing like I imagined. Didn't Jo Rowling describe snuffles as roughly the size and shape of a small bear?

Yeah, the dog was supposed to be bigger. I was not impressed by the new director. The entire film had a different feel than the first two.
I didn't like the new Dumbledore very much either. He didn't look the same. But I will admit they find some awesome actors for those movies. I was excited to see Kenneth Branagh as Lockhart. He looked just like I had pictured.
I didn't realize how many of our famous actors were British. They make a lot of American actors look completely untalented.

I think we can chalk the British acting ability to the fact that they usually don't limit themselves to being just movie actors. They're better rounded in both stage and screen acting. Not until recently have American actors followed suit.

Go work on your Clone Trooper armor, Jay.
