I know. These sequins are begging to be used. I would love to someday redo my skirt and chemise with a crinkle chiffon and the new sequins, if only to display it on my dressform at home. Someday....

The t-shirt idea is awesome! There are lots of screen priniting shops that would probably do it relitavely cheap if several shirts were bought (like they do for school clubs and teams). Ilove the coffee mug idea, too! Wouldn't it be cool to start of the work day with a latte in your "crazy picnic costumer" mug! LOL

My sequins came too! Many, many thanks Mirax! I picked them up at the post office, took them out to the car and ripped into the outer package, squeeing 'They're here! They're here!" over and over again. Squeeing was the word for it, too. My daughter rolled her eyes and said, "Geez, mom. they're just sequins already." Lol!

 

for those how have made this costume, wich patterns have you take ?

I can't wait to have my sequins !

And don't forget, there is already a list of patterns on page one of this thread. I'd imagine only a few new patterns would have been used in the last year or two. Many of us keep using the original patterns we listed in page one.

 

Does anyone else have a gallery of photos from the FIDM exhibit? I'm adding links to kay-dee's and PadawansGuide in the summary.

Mine photos turned out pretty dark and somewhat blurry. kay_dee and Maggie have the best!

 

My sequins came! But... I'm not home and won't be until late August, so I won't be seeing them until then. But they're there safely!

And that shirt design kicks ass! I love it!

Yesterday was a wonderfull day !

my sequins arrived ans my fabrics for the blouse and the skirt too !
My husband and my father were so astonished by the sequins !

 

I'm so glad to here that the shipments are arriving safely overseas!
