Padme's love for Anakin

    Did Padme lose the will to live because she didnt wanna live without Anakin? Its so sad..she loves him unconditionally even after all he's done..but I dont understand why did she lose the will to live?

    she loved anakin, but she saw how anakin was corrupted by his greed to save her. she didn't want his power, she just wanted him. when she lost him, she lost the will to live. my 2 cents.

    That's pretty much my take also. Although she still believed there was good in him, she also believed he no longer understood/loved her. She died of a broken heart.
