Guess what guys? Right now my friend and I are working on making me a replica of the Lake Dress that Padme wears on the balcony. I hoping to have this done by March. It is taking quite a bit to get the dyes done correctly. I have no idea where I am going to wear this to but I just felt like making it one day so here goes. Wish us luck.

Now I just need an Anakin to fall in love with. Hehe.

WizCon is all the way in November and who knows? If I am half good at this kind of stuff, I might make some kind of comic book character costume to wear to that one.

I really don't think I should walk around the convention center in a swimsuit. I mean even the porn star wore more clothes than that.

I am leaning toward my second favorite female comic book character, Elektra.

    That sounds do-able Phuong.

Pretty please, I want to see pics of this dress, how's it coming along so far?

Actually, it's been raining so we can't let our test dye cloths outside. Oh, well. We did find that it hasn't been too hard to make this dress.

No pressure or anything but perhaps I could wear it to Elizabeth and Joe's wedding. Haha. Just kidding.

    I wouldn't mind :)

Joe and I were toying around with a 20's themed wedding.

Hey, is that the flapper era? Can I wear a flapper dress? :p

Elizabeth, that sounds like a LOT of fun - really do-able too!

The dress is coming along nicely. We are just trying to find a way to replicate the top in a way that is accurate but comfortable. I am also looking towards making the Padme Picnic Gown. Hehe.

It's actually doing okay. But it's a lot harder than it looks. I keep trying to make it a little more modest looking but it's not working to well.
