    Thanks Sola. :)

I just finished this one in time for Dragon*Con and I'm still working on the velvet cloak that gets worn over it. I started to really like this dress when I made the belt. It's all very comfortable too, which is a giant plus.

    Thank you ladies. :)

Polly, I found the knit lace overlay at Joann Fabrics a long time ago. It was originally brown so it had to be painted with a fabric pigment/dye that works on polyester. It could actually use some touch ups in a few places where a little brown is still showing through.

So, Benae, you'll be at D*C this year?

Wow, ObiDawn, you've done it again. Another spot on re-creation! It's beautiful and highly accurate.:) I love seeing all your creations. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Thank you lucass and victorian-tea-rose! You guys are so nice. :)

Benae, that's great! Hopefully we'll run into each other. The Marriott was a great place to hang out last year (nice bar area). ;)

Oh, Dawnie! How beautiful you look! I didn't realize you were making this one. I thought you meant the cloak and "Hopi Indian style buns" outfit. Pretty, pretty, pretty!

Thanks! Yes, I made the cloak that goes over it too. This costume came about only because she wears the it under the cloak. Once I made the dress, I figured I might as well make the belt to go with it and have another stand alone costume. :)

*sheepish look* I never realized this gown was under that cloak. Guess my powers of observation need work! :)

    Regards,
    M.
