LA, CA Paintball Day w/ 501st

I mentioned to some of you at the Yard House that the 501st may have a paintball day.
It is likely going to happen. Anyone, and everyone is invited. They are totally cool with having Fan Forcers there, and may have Rebel Legion as well.

The more, the merrier. I will be attending.
I think it would be great if we had a group represented. The details are not finalized, but will keep you all abreast.

actually, some of the guys had thought about it... It looks like March 1, is going to be the date.

 

Dude, stormtroopers would get nuked in a speedball course. I'm gonna try and remember to go to this.

 

If others are interested, the paintball is 100% confirmed. All should feel welcome, only half the folks are 501st.

I don't think I'll be attending this time around but maybe in the near future. Paintball is very fun.

 

What Time Are We To Be There?

 

How was the paintball?

 

Hollywood Sports Rocked! It was a ton of fun. Despite the 10 bruises I have, which two have turned into welts, it was a blast.

The four fields all have different themes. One is Max Max (i.e.: Beyond Thunderdome),
Egypt, Lunar (which looked like star ship troopers) and one is post appoloclyptic
nuclear war. The location really makes an effort to keep the themes going.
Plus, they are very much safety oriented.

Best of all, early in the morning, I got 2-3 kills. Not bad for a beginner.

If we, (and maybe the 501st) could ever could a group together, it would be fantastic way to spend the day. It requires 30 and cash deposit to reserve your own field. Although not cheap, I recommend it.

A ton of people were (well not nerdy, but hard core) with their own guns and equiptment. (But I guess people would say that about me and making my own beer, say if we went to a make-your-own micro brew)

I will bring a bottle or two of Bubbas Brew version VIII to the meeting. This is a good batch, 5.5% alcohol. Like a darker New Castle.
