    Not yet, actually. Almost there.

Looking forward to your comic, mate. I will definitely pick one up!

Hey, thanks for the support. What are your plans? Looks like you're pursuing the concept artist route. Gotten any work yet?

Ah, no. It's just sort of a hobby for me; I've never submitted anything anywhere and don't really have plans to.

    New stuff: Jungle Planet Concept

    New work: Scavengers.

Just some jawas and the like. Sort of coloured it a bit cartoonish, but that's ok.

That looks just like Ralph McQuarrie's art! I love Tatooine paintings... And all the others, too!

    My thoughts exactly, SkyWookiee. :D

If you'd shown me that picture without a name or date, I would have guessed it was some of McQuarrie's ANH concept art. Great work, wicktone. :D

another great job, you always seem to caputre a great amount of detail, right down to the jawa's little shadows. I also sort of like how the mountains in the foreground almost look like it's framing the picture. I can imagine walking over a hill somewhere on Tatooine and coming upon that scene.

Dude, wicktone, holy crap! You're good! :D

Could you do one of General Grievous coming out of the shadows ready to kill? That'd be awesome with your style. :D

Thanks, Skywookie and War_Monger. I really admire Ralph McQuarrie. Him and Dermot Power are my two favorite SW artists.

DKSavior I usually work really, really big. So the jawas and their shadows are pretty large when I'm working on them. I drew in their bandoleers and their glowy eyes, and now I realize how ridiculous that was because you can't see them now that it's been shrunk down.

Darth_Elu, thanks. I'm starting a painting duel with zachlost from conceptart.org on sci fi scenes so I'm going to step back from star wars for a few days. When I'm finished, I'll look into doing some grievous.

**EDIT** Did some colour correction to that last pic.

This guy is so damn cool. I really think it's all in your presentation too.. He just looks all the more sinister and mysterious because of the way you have drawn him up. I am curious, what is it he's holding in his right hand?

DK, when I was drawing it I thought it was a necklace he took off of whoever his last victim was, but I figure it can be whatever people want. I'm surprised you even noticed it.

Wow, that Hoth Battle pic and the Jawas/sandcrawler pic are wonderful. They'd make excellent posters. I wish I had them. PM me if they're somehow available. Thanks.

Smelly, I have the pics as print quality size (300 dpi, 4000px). You could print them up to about a metre wide if you wanted to.

Send me an email if you want me to send you a copy of either of them (wicktone@cox.net).

Yané, thanks. Yes I draw them myself.
