since there are plenty of announcements regarding future publications ie. titles, cover photos, projected authors, etc. ......

does anyone have any idea as to if and when there will ever be a novel dedicated to the origin of Palpatine ??

    and for that matter, Yoda???????

perhaps with GL providing the background material??

please feel free to say who you would want to write these books if they ever are published

I'm sure we had this exact same thread not a few weeks ago...

I'd like to leave their origins mysterious. But depending on how he handles Yoda in DR, perhaps Sean Stewart should write it. For Sidious, perhaps Stover or Luceno would be a good choice.

Actually, I think Ostrander would give us a seriously good Sidious novel. I'd love for the man to write us a Dooku novel (although I suppose we've near enough got it with Jedi: Dooku, and the Count's continued appearance throughout the Republic series), Ostrander captures the man dead on.

EDIT: And sorry, no sign of Yoda/Sidious origin novels in the near future.

    EDIT 2: Cross referencing fun:

A little discussion on the matter there. I knew this thread looked familiar!
