  1. A Message For Everyone:

TCW vs. Rebels debates are not allowed in the Television forum. As in, discussions that descend into TCW/Rebels (or any show vs any other show) bashing/gushing will be subject to Mod action. Contrasting the themes, story lines, characters, etc. between the shows is allowed (welcomed, even). "Versus" debates/arguments, however, are a deal-breaker.

I'm pretty certain it is a preview trick playing to fan speculations. Ezra has nothing of value that he could possibly offer to Palpatine. Most likely, the "Mine at last" is whatever he's pursuing on Lothal, and it's probably in the Jedi Temple.

Absolutely right! They are playing near that whole angle in the trailer anyway, so I remain hopeful it´s just that, a misdirection. Then again, I didn´t like the idea hinted in season 3 trailers of Maul being killed by Obi Wan, and in the end it was exactly what happened!

Its likely that the Jedi temple on Lothal can become something else of use to Sheev.

We're not even sure that Ezra and the wolves are confronting the Emperor in that end shot, are we? Could be entirely different scenes spliced together.

I hope Ezra is not stupid enough to go charging at the Sheev.

Perhaps a gateway to Mortis and trough Mortis a gateway to immortality?

After all, in Legends, Sheev was always obsessed with living forever.

I didn't know that Ian McDiarmid was playing Sheev again until I read the EW article, that's awesome.

It’s a bit tricky to tell since his voice is a bit different, but yep it’s good old Sheev

Am I the only one who thinks that the wolves are the Ones from Mortis? There are three of them, and we know they can shapeshift. And come on, I know they supposedly died but if they are incarnations of the Force, they can always return.

There also a giant blue-eyed wolf in the trailer. My guess is that it's Kanan after he "dies".

I’ve heard of this theory. I would personally rather him be a force ghost then a Wolfe

Random Thought of the Day: How much of the season 4 budget went towards animating Palpatine’s cloak?

I don't want Kanan to be a ghost at all. Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin should be the first 4 ghosts we see in the saga. It's not a common ability in this time period, considering Qui-Gon rediscovered the technique recently.

If what happened on Mortis really happened then I am pretty sure the father will appear at some point as a force ghost. To who and why remains to be seen.

I don't think they're getting of Lothal unless the wolves teleport to Moraband

Remember that panel at Dragon Con when people asked Gilroy about Palpatine in S4 and he said there would be no Palpatine? Yeah, about that... Though people have been speculating since there were rumors of Ian McDiarmid being in London to record SWR episodes in May 2017 so maybe they just wanted to surprise people?

It is far better for them to lie then spoil/even hint at such a thing.

Actually it was Filoni who first hinted at Palaptine's role in S2 in a podcast in July I think which is surprising considering how tight-lipped he usually is about spoilers. Yet again, the S2 poster was a big spoiler and he spend half the season saying "maybe it will happen".
