Who would wind in a battle of the minds, Palpatine or Saruman?

What a great chess match that would be.

Who would win in a battle of powers, Palpatine or Saruman.

That would be very cool to see.

This is how it should be set up:

    Palpatine vs. Sauron
    Dooku vs. Saruman

    Christopher Lee against himself!

I think Palpatine would probably win against Sauron.

It would probably be a tie with Saruman against Dooku.

    They are both powerful "wizards".
Would Palps really be able to take Saruman in a battle of power?
Look what he did to Gandalf in FOTR...

The real question is "R2D2 versus Saruman"

I remember posting my opinion that Sauron would beat Palpatine on another thread, but I think Palpatine could probalby beat Saruman. Saruman's not a strong a Sauron, and Palpatine has more powers than Saruman. Sauron could kill both of them in seconds, providing that he had his physical form.
