There is no way Palpitine can call himeself a sith lord, or his apprentices. Now I have not read, Jedi vs. Sith, but the fact is Palpie does not have true sith blood in him. One he is a straight human, and hates aliens! True sith, had sith blood, from the people they took the names of. True sith, where a people who was not scared of change, and accepted other species, who blended with cultures.

I did not know that the Sith were a race of beings. I always believed the Sith to be a type of order just like the Jedi.

They are a race, well, once were, and they revered the banished Jedi as gods. Complex idea, read the 5000BBY stories to better understand it :)

The sith lord system was created by humans and possibly other species that enslaved the sith race. It has nothing to do with blood type. they do not resort that kind of specism when taking on new apprentices. Remember it was nago sadow that took on a human as an apprentice. It was a combined effort of several species that created the sith lord system as was seen up into the future.

Sorry I didn't specifie this. Yes the sith where a race who descovered dark majic of the force...The Dark Jedi blended with them...Im just saying Vader, Palpitine, and others from the EU are not "true" sith, just Dark Jedi.

    They are....

The Sith Order adopted the name of the Sith species. The Sith were primitive shamans who practiced Dark Side "magic".

Val, Shadow was truly human, he was also not a true sith, His master was however.

Palpatine really didn't hate aliens. Maul was a Zabrak after all, and he was to be Palpatine/Sidious's heir. The best word you could use to describe his attitude towards aliens (though still not 100% accurate either) is xenophobic. He put humans in all the major positions of power because he, as a human himself, could manipulate/predict their behavior easier than any other species. Palpatine was never so rigid in his selection of officers that he couldn't recognize potentially strong allies (i.e. Thrawn).

As for the whole sith thing, after the first dark Jedi enslaved the true Sith race, they kind of adopted the name for themselves. Wanting to completely break away from the order, they probably felt that calling themselves "Dark Jedi" would be like living under the shadow of their past. So technically it's not wrong to call Palpy, Vader and the like Sith since the name had been associated with their particular order for so long.

Sadow was not completly human he had the sith race jowels. Though it depends on the art style in which series your looking at, which can make it confusing.

actually the darkside was discovered a long time before all over the galaxy. dark side force users were all over the place before the great schism. It was these other darksiders that who later enslaved the sith aliens and took on there names, and created the sith system.

Palpatine used people as tools, aliens or otherwise. Yes he probably hated them, He was infact the one who declared "high Human culture" doctrine at about 20 bby.

This is quite similer to how hitler declared his anti-semintism, but had also used jews to his advantage even in military and scientific positions. It's estimated he used 5000 jews in his cause. But it's not known how many of those jews he knew were jews. But it's known that he had jews on his staff that he knew about.

"Val, Shadow was truly human, he was also not a true sith, His master was however. "

Actually, according to Dark Lords of the Sith Sadow was of pure Sith blood.

He belonged to a priesthood made up of of pure Sith who were tired of Dark Lords who weren't pure Sith ruling over the Sith people.

Well as for freedon nadd he must have become a sith at some point, because how can a non-sith declare the next sith?
