Panaka....

    Should Panaka have been Typho? Did we need another new character? Or should he have been mentioned, for example, when Corde dies, Typho runs over to thre starship and returns to Padme to say " Panaka's down too"......

    They could've done that, but the EU authors love to use the characters that go missing. :)

    Panaka is the Queen's personal bodyguard. Padme is no longer the queen.

    Me too. I think typho looks friendlier than Panaka. And he's got that cool eye-patch.

    In Universe Reason: Panaka protects the Queen. Amidala is no longer the Queen.

    Real-life Reason: The guy who played Panaka did not want to appear in Episode II. Typho was supposed to be Panaka, but Hugh refused the role.
