Pancakes or Waffles?

If you were stranded on a desert island (or dessert island ) and you were only allowed either pancakes or waffles, which one would it be?

 

Is there powdered sugar on this island?

 

Any necessary subsiduary items to the aforementioned pancakes or waffles would be provided

 

If I could vote for waffles more then once I would.
