I started reading this book and I'm impressed at how good it is. His characters are very good, some ahead of their time. His overall theme was very original when he wrote it and he does a great job with it.

What do you folks think about this piece?

I read this in 8th Grade and not only did I love it, but I just "got" it.

Have you finished it? If I remember correctly, only one character was not properly wrapped up....

The U.S. is destroyed in a nuclear attack and we see a small town in Florida try to survive.
