    Na'Zine Ya'warri vs. Albert Frost

Albert heard his name called out, as well as the name of some other contestant. As he entered into the arena, shielding his eyes from the harsh sun. Looking behind him, he spied his competator, a monsterous looking man. He was taller than Albert, and by far more muscley. Frost strode over to his side of the arena and clutched his staff, already establishing an uplink between his guantlet and his staff.

Already he started formulating strategies. So it would be a death blow to engage this one at any distance under his reach, probably 6 or so feet. The man could easily snap Albert in half. So that limited his options to long distance attacks. He could probably outmanuever the lunk too, even though he wasn't all that particularly fast.

Albert sensed a distinct change in the weather as the temperature plummeted dramatically. While the other side of the arena began sprouting rocks and boulders, snow began to appear on the ground, along with ice. How marvellous! Albert removed his cloak, allowing it to fall to the ground and the cool caress of the temperature to overtake him. Albert turned to bow deeply to the Gods assembled, especially Cyras, the patron Goddess of Ice. He raised his staff in salute to the diety, then turned to face the crowds and his opponent, his robe twirling around him

    It was time.

When the bell rang, the Ice Mage wasted no time. His first move was to quickly twirl his staff upwards to the sky, firing a beam into the clouds. He Arctic Crystal glimmered as it let loose its energy. Albert wanted it colder. 58 degrees was not enough. As his beam cooled the atmosphere to create some clouds and obscure the sun, he spun his staff quickly to the guard position and fired an icy blast of arctic energies across the arena. The icy blast crackled and shimmered as it arced, speeding along at his foe.

Albert watched in anticipation, ready for his opponents no doubt response. Ice walls will probably be of no use to a rock attack, so he would have to focus on dodging capabilities instead.

"Ah so look what we have here Peppin!" the lanky jester said, walking into the stadium. "A new job for us yes? And more money in our pocketbooks."

"Oh yes, Le'Trouleo!" Le'Trouleo said in a falsetto high voice, speaking for the puppet. "Then you can by me the nice new hat."

And strangely enough, to all who looked at the puppet, they could see the cloth mouth moving, as though the puppet was actually speaking.

"A new hat?" Trouleo said in mock suprise in his normal voice, "Why you silly little puppet!" he said, walking down the stairs of the stadium, people watching and laughing at his playful antics as he went by. "You have cotton for brains Peppin! I promised you no such thing!"

"Oh yes you did!" Peppin replied in turn, then turned to look out at the spectators on his left, "didn't he madames and mouiseurs?"

    "Yeah!" the crowd said playfully.

"Oh you..." the jester said to the crowd with a mock scorn. "You think I am made of golden Dorians? That the Earth Lord just showers them upon me? Why, I most certainly would not be a clown if this were true!"

"Psh!" Peppin the handpuppet said, when three little plant children ran up to Le'Trouleo. "Why what do we have hear Le'Trouleo?" the Puppet asked.

The jester dropped to one knee to look the children straight in the eyes. "Some plant children it seems my dear Puppet. Children of the Flowers it seems!"

"Do some magick Le'Trouleo!" one of the small plant girls said.

"Some magick!" Trouelo said in mock alarm. "Like this?"

The jester put forth his hands and a small orb of spinning light appeared in it.

"Oooh!" the kids said, a few more joining the crowd and the some of the adults actually pulling their eyes away from the battle.

"Now everyone, you must believe with your hearts in imagination! Can you do that?"

    The children nodded.

    Y'ameer vs. Thorr

As the opponents fizzeled out, Thorr waited in anticpation. Then the call came. He was to fight a plant. This did not bode particularly bad for Thorr, but not very well either. It would be an even match, it would come down to the power of the two opponents.

As he entered the arena, Thorr couldn't help but smile. He had more than enough animals on his side. He saw his opponent enter on the other side. Thorr wasn't intimidated. He drew his two swords, and eased his essance into each of the animals in turn, getting to know each and everyone of them. Assuring them that none of them would die in this battle. He bowed to his Immortal, and waited for his opponent to make the first move.

IC: Anjani Devi~Tera City, Arena : Duel #8 = Derk vs. Anjani Devi

Anjani waited with little patience as one after another was called to the arena floor to do battle for their patron, by the end of his lengthy wait the wind whipped around him in irritation and his constant pacing would be enough to set anyone around him at ill ease. Once the messenger announced his fight he headed straight for the ramp, he needed to feel the open breeze on his face again, being cooped up in the waiting room had deprived him of something he had not gone without in a long time, the wind.

He made no gesture the the crowds, as usual he ignored them completely and made a humble bow towards Zephra, followed quickly with a sweeping bow to all the other Immortals. With the formals now done he faced his adversary, a warrior of the element of fire, and it should be a hard fight to the end. Anjani reached down to his belt and removed a dart, in his other hand Anjani already held his scourge, he left his shortspear on his back for use later in the fight.

Weapons in hand Anjani stood ready, no armor to speak of and looking like a herder right out of the mountains, he would not impress many at the betting stands that was for sure. But Anjani had something most did not, he had a deep driving spirit that has been tested over and over again, and all times Anjani succeeded. There is strength where there is confidence, and this is something that the mountain warrior has in abundance.

    [IC: Surius Maiestas--Tera City, Arena]

~Contact is made, shield against human flesh. Which comes out the victor? The shield. Alahandra is taken full force by the attack by Surisus' shield, and is knocked back a good five feet. Her weapon, the Morningstar, is knocked out of her hands and lands just out of reach. She has no time to respond, so quickly draws her sword, standing at the ready. After sticking a solid landing to the ground, dust puffing around his boots, he looks upon his opposition; tears stream from her eyes, full of light. Blood trickles from her lip and nose, giving her fare skin a few streaks of crimson. Surius looks on with a face cold as stone; this is the risk one takes when entering the arena. No remorse is to be felt.

The pallid eyes of Surius cast a harsh glare upon his opposition, not wavering at any moment. The spots and speckles that clouded his vision have nearly faded, and he sees clearly the woman of the light before him. Her body has taken something of a beating, but her spirit has not taken any such damage. Pride: a powerful emotion. One that can cause
serious damage. The pride in the hearts of the two competitors could be the deciding factor in this battle. Though, with the Immortals watching, much is on the line...and niether within the arena wish to lose.

Surius still holds his shield near to him, ready for an attack, but at this moment he must prepare one of his own. His grip on the staff in his left hand has not loosend since it was caught just moments ago, and with that he will make his next me. With skill the Thunder warrior whirls the staf arround, and slams it into the ground with authority. The instant the staff impacts the ground of the arena floor, the heavens literally bellow, and sound as if they are ripped open. Surius uses a great deal of his physical strength to slam the staff into the ground, the chiseled muscles in his arms buldge out. Behind his lips, his teeth clench, and his brow furrows.

As the thunder rolls overhead, some cower, and others close their ears. It is, indeed, a ear-shattering sound. Surius is, however, used to such sound...one may even say immune. Wielding such a power for his entire life would allow such an immunity to build up. Though, this deafening sound was not the end of Surius' attack. Following the sound instantly is another stream of lightning. A stream that pours down from the heavens much like before, though this one is
not quite as powerful; Surius is careful, and mindful not to tire himself out, so as to impair his use of thunder. Though, to be sure, he does not depend exclusivly on his elemental powers, he never has...and he will not begin on this day.

The lightning screams forward, from one side of the arena to the other, and with such little room between the two fighters, the lightning bolt may very well strike Alahandra full force. Indeed...the risks one takes...

It didn't take very much for her to tell that he was on the run, and that was exactly what she wanted. With a flick of her wrist thickened, the truth was painfully obvious, the exit would be hard to find. She pulled her daggers from the hidden sheiths on her legs, and kept walking around and around, waiting for the opportune moment. She made her way silently through the swirling mists, watching.

    Found you

The aim here was not to kill, but to make the opponent erither wounded, or pass out, and she wanted to avoid the former. She flipped one of her daggers over slowly, silently, and aimed with the blunt end, for the back of his head.

When Y'amer heard his name was called he quickly looked at the messenger. He was disapointed that he would not be fighting a fire elemental. But he would get his chance. Life eh?Yamer thought in his head. Life elementals were very difficult to defeat...if they knew how to use their power. But Y'amer didnt want to get arrogant. Thats a bad sign in a plantsmen.

He stepped out of the waiting room and into the arena. He walked over to t he vegetation part of the arena and gave a bright smile. He nodded over to Gaia and stood there, hands extended. He created a long thick tree under him, rising him to the sky. He took out his bow and arrow and began to shoot, precise shots at Thorr.

    Siyamak Damia vs. Traya Noik

"Siyamak Damia and Traya Noik, please enter the arena. It's time to fight the third round. Fight hard, fight true. Remember, the Gods are watching.?

Traya looked up at the mention of her name and finished braiding her hair in haste to at least keep her dark strands out of her eyes. Once her hair was fastened tight behind her neck, the young Wind wielder slid her legs over the bench and rose to her feet. She grabbed her sword, tossed it over her back and strapped it across her chest. She also took her boomerang and hooked it on her belt.

Her time had finally arrived. She found herself against Siyamak, the Death clansmen she had sort of befriended not half a day before. Perhaps it was Destios doing that they would fight now. After all, the goddess of Destiny usually did her work in funny and unpredictable ways. This would be an interesting match, even for the participants.

?Wish me luck, fellas? Traya said to Y?Amer and Thorr as she moved past them and walked out of the Waiting Room.

Traya entered the arena, and gave out a sigh of relief to finally be out doors again after hours of being confided to that tiny hole underground. She stepped forward and felt the wind against her face, soothing away the hot sensation in her forehead and wiping away the sweat from her brow. In a few steps, Traya reached the center of the gust, where she would have better and easier control over the blowing wind.

Once she reached her position, she looked up at the pantheon where the Immortals were perched. Traya bent her arm back and unsheathed her sword. She crossed it before her and bowed deeply to her patron goddess, Zephra, the Lady of the Winds, as her grandfather had referred to her. Then the young woman turned to the opposite side of the arena, where Siyamak was to be.

Traya wasn?t very surprised to see an actual ?graveyard? at the other side of the sand. Bones of all sort of animals, and maybe even people, soiled the ground. And in the middle of the cemetery sight stood Siyamak, surrounded by a knee high foggy mist, seemingly ready for her.

Judging by the way her opponent was positioned; Traya figured he wanted her to make the first strike. He obviously didn?t want to step out of his deathly graveyard haven shield. But unlike him, Traya could move her windy shield around with her as she pleased, or at least as far as the Immortals would allow.

Traya held her sword at her side and swung it back and forward, flexing her wrist.

?Now then. Good luck, Damia? said Traya, loud enough so he could hear above the blowing wind and the roaring crowd.

    Siyamak Damia IC:

    Siyamak Damia vs. Traya Noik

Siyamak watched as Traya entered the arena, got ready, and then paid her respects to the pantheon of gods. He remained silent and waiting. He noticed her observing the area briefly, which he had done as well, and then call out good luck to him. He merely nodding in response, reserving his breath.

Holding up his sword in a ready stance, standing in the middle of his half of the arena, he waited for Traya to make his move first. It would be stupid to charge in at her, that was out of the question unless he wanted to be flung like a rag doll into a wall.

At the same time, Siyamak didn't wait. He was keeping to himself as usual, trying to be sneaky he supposed in the fog. He stood in his stance as if waiting for Traya to make the next move, but in reality he was already using his control over his element silently, as Death can sometimes be.

Using his powers, he called some of the bones in the back of his half, so Traya wouldn't see them move, to seemingly float to him, close to the ground. Upon reaching him, they would begin circling around his legs, under the knees. Normally it'd be higher, but stealth was of importance here.

If she approached, he would fling the bone at her with his invisible hand controlling them. If she used the wind immediately, he would use a few bones to take the brunt of the force of the attack. Like a loose shield or distraction. At the same time, Siyamak was drawing what his people considered "gray energy" from the bones. Not that you can see this, but that is what it was called. Bones always made a Death clansman or woman stronger, they could take out the shroud of death around them, and fuel it in their own body. Unfortunately, Siyamak wasn't strong enough to take a lot of gray energy from the bones he secretly now had, but just enough to be prepared.

And all the time, the beat in his bounced. A soft, soothing lullaby almost, but suddenly have quick, sharp blares. It was almost on.

Her eyes settled on a jester entertaining small children, performing a charming little skit with a handpuppet, then casting magic to the oohs and aahs of the spectators. Leiata smiled at the children, but it was not a happy smile, it was a sad smile. Had she had a childhood like that once? One of innocence and wonder? For all that was there in its place was a dark void in her mind. Just then, an image flashed in her mind. The sight of Flames and the sound of screams. She gasped and steadied herself on the chair, lowering her head into her hands, trying to calm herself, feeling embarrased as the people around her looked at her curiously

    Na'Zine Ya'warri vs. Albert Frost
    Location: The Arena

Na'Zine sat quietly, meditating as he patiently waited. Through his mind, he thought of possible attack and defensives, while he sat. Soon, he heard the voice of the messenger.

"Na'Zine Ya'warri nd Albert Frost, please enter the arena."
Na'zine calmly unfolded his legs and stood, his heavy warhammer rested comfortably in his hands, as he turned and entered the area. It felt good, with the warm sun shinning out on the arena. A quick look at the arena caused him to chuckle. Half of the arena has large rocks and boulders across the ground, the other half is full of snow and a couple of spots of ice. The coolness did not bother Na'zine. In fact, it was rather invigorating. This would be a glorious battle indeed. He smiled.

He nodded a salute towards the Immortals, and then spied his opponent. Shorter, and leaner he was. The man would probably plan to use his quickness over Na'zine. Very well. Na'zine suprised many, when it came to combat. He allowed the other man, to remove his cloak, and waited patiently as he saluted the various beings assembled, before he finally turned to face Na'zine. Na'Zine offered him a nod.

In the distance, a bell rang.

For some reason, the man's first move was to quickly twirl his staff upwards to the sky, firing a beam into the clouds. As his opponent took the time to conjure something from the skies, Na'zine moved with speed, slamming his hammer hard onto the arena floor, causing violent earthshakes to hammer the floor of the arena, and the ground and ice to split wide in various places. He rolled to standing position.

As Na'zine did, he felt the tempreature plummed, and what looked like an blast of cold speeding towards him. Na'zine looked towards one of the large boulders nearby, and moved it, shielding him from the icy blast, as it hurtled towards the Ice user. 'Lets see how well the Ice user plays catch', Na'zine thought to himself.

As the bolder moved, so did Na'zine, as he leaped towards a set of boulders.

Fa'Kira had watched all the battles breathless, watching how the other elementals moved. She studied their moves, and applauded the wonderful battles, and felt bad for the loosers. They had all come so far. To make it even that far, was a testiment to their fortitude. In the stands, there was a person, playing puppeteer to many of the children in the crowds. She chuckled softly, listening to the oohs and ahhhs of the children, as the man did his magic. It was rather fun to watch.

But now, she had heard Na'zine's name called out, and she sat quietly watching as the battle started, she focused on the arena below. She clutched her staff, as she watched her friend, and then his opponent come out. When she saw how the arena formed, she clutched her staff even tighter. This had the potential of being one heck of a match, and she knew it. She had met other ice users before. She just hoped her friend would do well. And she hoped that both fighters didnt beat each other into a pulp before a winner was declared. Her companion kept a sharp eye around the both of them, as his mistress was busy watching the games.

    Siyamak Damia vs. Traya Noik

Traya shifted her weight from one leg to the other in rhythm, searching for a comfortable position to lay her full weight in the sand beneath her feet. Finally finding it, the young woman stood up to her full height and began searching for the best way to make the first strike, since Siyamak, ever so politely, would give her the honor of making it. She knew that he knew that it would be foolhardy for him to charge at her directly from the beginning of the fight, especially since she was completely surrounded by a gust. A man like Siyamak wouldn?t make such an excessively bold and risky move, thought Traya.

It was laid down from the start that she would have to make the first move; otherwise this fight would never get past the stare down. Siyamak seemed like a pretty patient man, so he would probably wait age for her to move first. Traya wasn?t that much patient at all, she would have to move eventually. Waiting for him was out of the question.

?My goddess Zephra, I beg you, guide my arm now. Allow me to stand victorious in your name? whispered Traya, hoping the goddess could hear her voice now like always.

The Wind clanswoman finally raised her sword and ran the image of what she was about to do in her mind a few times over. It seemed simple in her head; she could only hope it would be the same out in reality as it was in her imagination.

Finally confident in the scenario, Traya gripped her sword tighter and swung it to her right side, holding it next to her face. Whatever Siyamak was planning, he shouldn?t be able to do it if he couldn?t see.

Then Traya swung her weapon through the air, enhancing the sonic boom of the blade with her powers. The wind blowing around her picked up kilos of sand from the ground in a small twister, making a huge, spinning wall of sand in front of Siyamak. The sand twister rushed over Siyamak?s half of the arena, engulfing everything from his view.

Traya kept a swirl of air spinning around her body to keep the sand storm from reaching her as she bolted into her opponent?s turf, sword raised and ready. Once was close enough to him, she slashed her sword from above. It was impossible that he could see anything through that storm.

?Trufflehunter, I really don?t need your conversation advice. As much as you don?t like to admit it, you?re not always right.?

I am right most of the time. Remember that scroll? I told you over and over again that it was cursed, but who listened?

?That?s not really a fair example. But let me get back to the conversation. We can argue later.? Adric turned to the woman. ?Like I said before, Trufflehunter is good at getting me in trouble but just as good at getting me out of trouble. For instance, he was standing by in the brawl to make sure that nothing really harmful happened to me. We have also had a rivalry like this since we started working together. I got Trufflehunter back for what he did a few days later. Nowadays it takes the form of battles of wit ? debates and chess games.? Adric leaned in close and whispered so that Trufflehunter couldn?t hear. ?Besides, it probably was pretty funny. But don?t tell Trufflehunter that I said that. He would never let me forget.? He sat back so that his animal companion could follow the conversation again. ?But what about you? Can you tell me a little bit about yourself??

    Siyamak Damia IC:

    Siyamak Damia vs. Traya Noik

Siyamak waited as the the beat in his head picked up. Watching Traya obviously showed that she was thinking of something and trying to make sure she would get it right. He continued standing to see what she would do. A gust of wind perhaps? Couldn't be something obvious. As he tried to figure it out while standing there, she made her move and he almost missed it.

She used her elemental power alright, but not in the way he had suspected or hoped she would. The sand was brought up because of the wind and just like that, it was hard to see in front of him and around him. Though he could see at least a little to his sides. Only option this meant was that she was covering a rush, he would have to backpedal and quickly. If she was coming from the rear, he would have to start moving now to prevent that. If from the sides or a direct rush(which he doubted), then she would find herself missing.

He began to back pedal almost as soon as the sand came up. It irritated his eyes slightly, but he was moving fast enough to keep that to a bare minimal.

The beat was striking hard and fast now, going and going. He was already infused with it, as he back pedaled it was almost like a skip, but not, backwards, to the rhythm. When moving around his opponent, it would probably seem like he was dancing on his feet. He only hoped he could get Traya to get that point...

Suddenly a form above and far in front of him coming down. So she was trying to do a vertical slash while he was blinded was she? Good for him then that he had started moving backwards, she was slightly off, but she could still get in a good cut if unchecked. So he did the only possible thing he could.

Using his element quickly as he stared at her ever rushing downward form, he brought upon many of the skulls, ribs, and other bones to in front and above him like a wall. It blocked the maneuver alright, but the force of the descent still pressed the bones inward toward him for a moment, provoking a moment of worry for Siyamak.

The moment he knew Traya hit the ground however after he assault, he flung the bones toward her, still as a wall, full force. At the same time he began rushing behind it and to the right of it to intercept her if she moved to her left to get away from the wall.

Just incase, he slashed at about the moment he figured she would appear, timing it with the beat in his head.

The duel with his opponent, his dance with Traya, had begun.

Gladiatorial Arena; T'aren Vuushko vs. Girren

T'aren looked on as his opponent, a man that possessed the mighty element of water, performed his opening tactics. It was quite simplistic at first, but all that changed rather abruptly as a prodigious liquid serpent shot out of the air like the eruption of a powerful volcano. It hissed its aquatic tongue and revealed its shining red eyes at T'aren as it awaited his strike, pondering its defense and carefully predicting the opening attack.

The rushing winds continued to howl as T'aren outstretched his arms even further, summoning all of his power to muster it into one mighty attack. The tornadoes rose into the air, their roots along with them. They both combined into one enourmous swirling ball of wind above T'aren, blowing the flying birds that hovered above out of their desired paths. I apologize, my friends, T'aren told them in his mind, and focused on his impending attack. When the time was right, he would make it, but it took careful focus, concentration, and precision.

He closed his glowing red eyes and lifted his head towards the sky in deep concentration. The spirit of the wind surrounded him, engrossed his mind, engulfed his very soul. He became the wind. He was the wind. His white hair went awry in all different directions as the wind howled above, the sand ripping throughout the air, apt to disturb the spectators as it entered their eyesockets and harmed their eyes, tainting their clothes. No matter, clothes could be cleaned and eyes could be washed, but glory could not be replaced.

The sounds that existed outside no longer entered T'aren's ears. The mechanism was cleared, and everything inside of him was engrossed in the spirit of the wind. All was quiet. Not a sound could be heard. Calm. Peace. With a loud yell and the opening of his eyes and the narrowing of his eyebrows, T'aren threw his arms forward as the sound came rushing back to his ears like a passing bullet train through a desserted dark tunnel. The gigantic ball of wind zoomed toward T'aren's opponent, its actions obeying its master.

    Siyamak Damia vs. Traya Noik

Traya failed her blow from above on Siyamak, and instead of him hit a pile of skulls and bones. She felt them crack beneath her blade, put she had no choice but thrust herself away before Siyamak found an opportunity to slash up at her. Even if he couldn?t see her, he already had to know where she was. She landed a few meters away, but still inside the raging ball of sand she had created.

The young woman turned around, she could feel her opponent?s location through the winds blowing. Siyamak was in front of her, but something else had appeared, and was moving fast straight toward her. It was a wall of bones. Siyamak must flung them all over her. This made Traya think of something that would normally happen in the stories that people told around a campfire at night.

Fortunate for the Wind wielder, Siyamak could still hardly see through her storm, and Traya had enough time to thrust herself to the right out of the coming wall?s way.

The wall flew past her followed by Siyamak. Taking the chance, Traya flung her sword to the right to hit Siyamak from behind.

Battle Arena, Girren vs. T'aren Vuushko

    IC: Girren

Girren knew he would be defeated if he fought defensively. With the mighty ball of wind raging towards him at the command of its wielder, there was no way for Girren to move himself and Asmodeus out of its path for in this case, wind controlled the speed of water. Hence, Girren saw his best option.

Strike him!, Girren yelled as he released two throwing stars into Asmodeus.

With this, Asmodeus plunged towards the ball of wind and T?aren with the rage of an erupting geyser, leaving Girren behind. It was obvious what would happen; as the moment of impact, the ball of wind shredded through Asmodeus like a hot knife on butter and hurled Girren towards a wall. However, Asmodeus collided with the ball of wind at an angle, accelerating the stars as they revolved about the ball of wind and zipped towards T?aren.

Wasting no time, Girren started on his next move while the wind was still agitating the river:

    In the souls of all,
Lies a core deeper than the core itself.
Ebbing and flowing in the shores of the mind,
    Release the Tides of Darkness.

And so Girren again, waited for his opponent's next move...

    Na'Zine Ya'warri vs. Albert Frost

Albert almost didn't catch it in time. While he was busy firing off his arctic shot, the man let loose a mighty pounding of his war-hammer onto the earth. Albert first didn't feel it, but the blast was like a sizzling snake, moving and rumbling closer and closer to him. As a jagged canyon snaked to almost swallow him up, Albert reflexively summoned a slanting spire of ice from under him, lifting him above the quaking ground.

And giving him a front row view of a boulder flying straight at him. Albert's mind shifted quickly to his lessons. Ice expands if heated past four degrees Celcius. The man raised his hands to the boulder to release the grip of the magick on the rock, giving it a chance to warm on the sunny 86 degree temperature of the other side.

And sure enough, it didn't take long for those five degrees to pass. As the compacted ice in the crevaces of the rock molecularly expanded, cracks and fissures opened within it. Due to its own velocity, the pressures blew it apart into thousands of pieces, each flying off at different vectors. Albert had a small ice-wall up and ready to catch the fragments, then discarded it when the explosion was over.

From his perch Albert spied his foe perched on a cropping of boulders. He raised his staff again to the sky, cooling the air above the arena once more. The condensation of the water vapor in the air would soon show manifest. Albert knew he was sacrificing possibilities for attack, but sometimes force did not always equate to victory. Keeping his eyes always on his opponent, which was easy from his aerial position, he began forming two icey spikes/missiles in his hands.

    Siyamak Damia IC:

    Siyamak Damia vs. Traya Noik

Siyamak soon noticed his error as his sword went through air. If she dodged, she went the opposite direction. He saw his wall of bones go keep flying and out of visibility...no doubt to crash into the wall on the other side. As he turned to look the other way that Traya had to be in.

A sword came flying from no where. Not good, especially as the beat sounded calmer and more haunting than normal. Siyamak winced in pain as the sword struck and cut along his left ribs, forcing him to fall to one knee, letting out a pained grunt. However, he could still fight. He looked up and let his left hand grab the sword that now lay on the sand.

A hit, so a point to Traya...but also a subtraction. Her weapon was now his. Two swords at the ready, with his scythe on his back as back up.

Siyamak ran to his left till he was in the fog again and bones were around him once more, and there he went on knee again. Waiting and willing Traya to come his direction, whether she saw him or not, it didn't matter. He had an attack ready.

The moment she appeared, he would let fly with one sword into the air above him, not at her, and use that free hand to quickly fire a black orb that would quickly travel and hopefully strike her, he would then catch the sword as it came back down.

This orb he was still perfecting it, but it packed a punch and would make a nice sting to her flesh if it hit.

?I?m Adric Kay. A pleasure to meet you, Miss Azar. What clan were you originally born into?? Trufflehunter looked at Adric.

That was tactful. Don?t you think a situation like that would be rather painful? What if she doesn?t want to talk about it?

Adric added quickly, ?If you don?t want to talk about it, that?s fine.?

    Y'amer VS. Thorr

Thorr smiled as he watched the tree come up from the ground, with Y'amer on top. He was perfectly fine with this starting out as a long-range battle. Years of hunting in the forest, not to mention fighting various evil doers, had made Thorr a very accurate shot. He sent his bear compannion over to start climbing up the tree, and sent his hawks in to do whatever they could to bother his opponent without hurting themselves. He started dodging the arrows that were coming his way, and took out his bow in the proccess. He aimed well and true at his high target and began to take his shots.

    IC - Davinoth VS. Sylwynd
    Arena

She had stopped. He knew it, but he had no idea where. Davinoth knew she wasn't having as music trouble seeing through this mist as he was, but either way, she had stopped, and he wasn't about to be taken by surprise. He dropped to the ground, where the mist was the thickest, and slowly slid along the ground.

I need to get rid of this fog, whether it costs me or not. He popped back up, about fifty yards from where he had been, only to here the thump of some sort of projectile hit the ground. Apparently she had been behind him. Summoning the powers of thunder for the first time, the clouds started to tear and rip, and the lightning slowly started overhead. The clouds moved faster, and faster, and a small rumbling sound could be heard.

The rumbling grew, quite steadily, into the rapid roar of static and noise. With it the wind picked up, the clouds tearing at both the hydrosphere and the atmosphere. The ground rumbled, and Davinoth thrust his hands forward. The force from the thunder and the wind created a small, but powerful, sonic boom, forcing the stagnant mist out of the arena.

"That should even things up," Davinoth muttered to himself. He glanced in front of him, but he couldn't locate his opponent. Slowly, he turned his head to the left. Nothing. Then back to the right, and barely six feet from his opponent.

"Jes-" Davinoth shouted, but was cut off by the sound of Katana being pulled fully out of it's scabbard, as he jumped back a few feet. The clouds above continued to twist and contort, bending to the shape of each other, and the field quickly grew darker. "Perfect," he said, still moving away from his opponent.

    Sylwyn VS Davinoth

    YES! Finally!

The moment she had been waiting for had finally come to be. The mists swirled around them, and suddenly converged upon his sword, causing a water-like barrier, which held tight.

Before his very eyes, his sword was rusting.

Being the smart little nymph, she never stopped moving, and continued circling her opponent. On her way, she had picked up her lonst dagger, and was ready to fight at any moment.

What else could have been said, after all, this was fun.
