Patterns for this costume. (Anime)

I'm wanting to make this costume for a con, and was wondering what patterns people thought would be a good bet for this coat dress type garment.

In this fan art the only thing really wrong with it is the corset belt is to big.

so any suggestions on patterns?

ah, beatrix... one of the first costumes I ever made. It sucked, lol. But I used a long dress pattern for the jacket part, McCall's 3237.
Might get some more tips and stuff at cosplay.com...

 

ah cool a cosplayer! that belt shouldn't be too hard to find I mean a lot of places carry girls belts that are quite large, but yeah thats really awesome, I want to cosplay as Fierce Diety Link from the Zelda video game series, I think the whole white contact thing would be awesome. Or Vash the Stampede from Trigun, Well good luck.
