The Augmented Edition seems to contain all the in-game items and bonuses offered by the Collector's Edition, yes. The only thing that seem to be missing is an extra 10,000 credits (certain pre-order bonuses offer almost the exact same stuff for the standard game as the Augmented Edition, too).

 

There's an OXM report on the 360 about it if anyone has a 360 and is interested. It's an interview with the art director.

Mostly it's been Deus Ex 1 & 2 but they've given out some Human Revolution codes too.

Although, maybe I shouldn't have said this, don't want to increase the competition.

I would, but getting it right doesn't give you an extra copy. Just tells you that you already have it.

Wait, what? You were actually quick enough to get the key? Are you sure you were the first one to get it? Any why were you even trying if you already have the games?

In fact, getting it right doesn't mean a thing unless you're the first person to do so. And I'd be really annoyed if it turns out that any of the codes were wasted because the first person to get it already has the games.

You don't have to worry about anything being wasted. It only matters if you're the first person to enter it and don't already have the game. In this case, I believe, they didn't mention what game the code was for until the next update. It went from popping up to my entering it with the correct letter in about five seconds, so it's possible somebody else got it faster (but if so, I doubt most of us even have a remote chance). The next person to enter the code who didn't possess the games should've gotten it.

 

5 seconds? It takes me longer than that just to put it into Steam, gosh darn it!

 

Will it live up to the hype? I am definatly intrested.

And cyberpunk isnt usually my cup of tea.

 

New trailer is out. Some new clips in there: interesting stuff.

 

It's getting close to the release date, and I'm still broke. I was hoping to preorder it too.

The new trailer looks great, especially at about 1:45-ish when the commentator says 'killing power'. That has got to hurt.

 

Not sure if everyone is aware of this short film called "Purity First." They really captured that style of "anonymous whistleblower" film nicely.

I'm extremely excited to get this thing on day one. Even though I haven't played the first two, I'm a Ghost in the Shell fan and figured this would fit in that vein nicely.

Getting this for my birthday which is shortly after release day. As I'm getting this gift sent to me through the post. Maybe I will get it on release day

Got my Augmented Edition rolling in with Amazon release day delivery.

I hope this game makes a big impact in the industry like it should.

 

Preordered on Steam. If I'm particularly lucky, maybe they'll even allow pre-loading for this one.

I can't decide whether to get this one or not. On one hand, Squeenix, and it looks fantastic. On the other, it looks like it's gonna be first-person and that gives me killer motion sickness.

 

Won't be able to play this for a while so I'm picking up a cheap copy later.

Oh again, Squeenix didn't make this. It's being made by Eidos Montreal, who were bought by Squeenix. They're also working on Thief 4, but I'm not sure which of Eidos's games they made in the past.

Who cares though, the game looks very good.

 

Playing now, and liking the look of it.

 

Let us know how it is. I read the Gamespot review which said great story, great atmosphere, but has a few technical issues. I am not that bothered about technical issues so I am very much looking forward to this game!!!
