I'm trying to come up with as many bizzare creatures as I can for my own catina scene, but that alien looks a little to goofy ...

That was good stuff Zap, very impressive, especially when the two danced in unison :) So did you animate all of that, or use some kind of mocap file?

He looked to be a bit of an aquatic creature - I take it he was the Godfather of Sole...

    Ok just saw it.

Its pretty neat, better then anything I've made to date, but wouldn't work for my cantina scene.

    Very nice!

I like the animation and the camera droid that comes, takes pictures and dances. :)

I think you should make him or her a little less goofy looking though.

Yeah, that's Uncle George's job to add retarted elements that shouldn't be seen anywhere other than saturday mornings.

Daft: All hand-animated. Doesn't it show?!? I can't believe you mistook it for mocap... I'm flattered ;)

Sithcloak: Well I wasn't too serious about the cantina angle anyway ;)

Kvaleen/spoo: Actually this is an animation test... and not much more.... (gone overboard, as all my tests tend to do ;) ) so I slapped up the "alien" in, oh, all of an hour or less.... most of the work is in movi'n him.

Actually from a modelling point, a lot more work is in the robot than the alien, tho you hardly see 'im.

3D Studio MAX .... a Character Studio skeleton for the alien, homemade IK bones for the robot.
