Back on Pet Peeves...

1. People who think a Hockey Game is all about fighting..
2. The Fact that there are NO Tim Hortons anywhere near this place..
3. People who think EVERY Canadian says "Eh"

Number #3 doesn't apply to anyone on the board. Just people who ask me stupid stuff like that when they meet me.

Every canadien i've met says "eh"...wait i can think of one that i don't think does....

Ya, in Salem. That is where I lived. It was awsome around Halloween. All the special effect artists would come and you could get stuff done to your face. Get vampire teeth that were beyond realistic! It was fun living there.

Here are some other slang words they use:
Grinder
Tonic/ soda pop
Sneaker instead of tennis shoe.

 

Yeah, people on the East coast and Canadians are weird...they have a different lingo..

Ya, it was not all that creepy. I would walk around the whole town when I got board. There is a harbor and a museum there too. We use to pick the snails of the wooden posts that held up the dock at the harbor! It was the only thing to do there. Oh ya.. we made fun of the tourist that would trip all the time. The sidewalks where made out of brick and it had massive holes in it.

 

You really mean the WHOLE town huh?

I get to laugh at the idiots at Disneyland next week that wear sandals and walk along the tracks where the hourses pull carts and step in wizz the whole day. It's hilarious.

Major pet peeve!! They are the most annoying thing to me. Well, other than stupid and mean people.

 

I hate it when stupid people try to act smart, and try to impress you with their intelligence.

nothing wrong with the east coast people - born and breed in New Jersey.

 

The West is the best my frined.....Although Canuck is from the West, he came from to far North os he don't count.

 

Pet Peeve: People who move here and talk smack about Albuquerque and cop a superior Californian attitude. Like "Welllll, in OC (that's Orange County California) we have mountains, desert, AND surf! Oh, and hot chicks, man, really hot chicks."

Yo, been there, and the chicks ain't no hotter than what we got here. Maybe a lot more silicon, but that don't count because when you add silicone, it sucks the IQ right out of 'em. Now, surf... is cool, I have to admit! But is it really worth the traffic and the outrageous cost of living? I think not.
