I kid you not! Saw it on the web today! Peter Jackson's next project will be a remake of the original King Kong (in the 1930's era) complete with dinosaurs and everything (like the original, not the remake - which I also like). Due out December 2005! Saw it on USAToday's site.

Something to look forward to AFTER the big summer of SWIII - INDY4 - JP4....

Here's the USA today link: http://www.usatoday.com/life/movies/news/2003-08-21-lotr_x.htm

    I can't wait! :p

Too funny! As much a dinosaur nut that I am, I'm surprised it took me this long to find out about it! :p

Ha, I was thinking the same thing goat but more like 6 months ago. Any way I am more of a Jackson fan as opposed to lotr which are great films. What do you think about his pre lotr films like dead alive, and bad taste?

Bad taste is an amazing piece of B cinema. Funded entirely by money earned by jackson and his friends delivering pizzas and such, all of the effects were done by jackson himself. He baked all of the latex in his mothers oven, it reportedly took him about 4 years to complete. When you watch it you can see where the 4 years and every penny went though. Highly creative and shows jackson's knack for details. It is his debut and the film that made people take notice, while Heavenly Creatures was the film that made people take serious notice.

Ahhh. Thanks MJ that's right. Brain Fart.

I haven't seen either of those films. perhaps I will keep an eye out for them next time I am at the video store.

So many movies to look forward to in 2005, I can't wait. Espically since the next 007 will be out that year, too.

    Cheer!
