Missi Peter Mayhew at CoastCon 31 in Biloxi, MS April 11-13, 2008

In case anyone browsing the forum hadn't heard I wanted to let people know that Peter Mayhew will be at CoastCon 31 in Biloxi at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum coming up soon April 11-13. We will also be have as as guest Gigi Edgley (Chiana from Farscape), author David Gerrold and many more. You can find out more information at the CoastCon website, www.coastcon.org.

 

thats cool, i am going to have to check that con out some more. The Mississippi 501st had mentioned possible trying to make an appearance there to try to get some more troopers in the coastal area as we have 2 there now.

 

Great! Hope to see you there. There needs to be more organized SF fandom in general on the Mississippi Gulf Coast outside of just CoastCon.

FYI regarding CoastCon which is coming up in just a few weeks April 11-13:

As of March 25, there were only 27 hotel rooms left in CoastCon's hotel room block. March 28 (that's this coming Friday) is the hard cutoff date for these rooms. On Friday, the hotel will open any remaining rooms to the general public. It even already has a list of people who will not be attending CoastCon who want these rooms. So be sure to reserve your hotel room before then.

Also, Dave Arneson, co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons with the late Gary Gygax, will be returning to CoastCon this year. He will be participating in a number of panels on both Friday and Saturday.
