Things can change in a month and hopefully this whole mess will be taken care of by then. I realize that NYC will still be a mess but my hopes are high that they don't cancel the con altogether.

 

I doubt it. SF conventions aren't high on terrorist hit-lists. Of course, they could panic, but hopefully they won't.

 

We had a convention canceled this weekend.

 

That's the immediate aftermath. Great American's not for over a month yet. Things should be quieted down a little by then.

 

But the investigation is ongoing at Boston hotels and things like that. I think it will be decided by the condition of Boston at the time.

 

I'm sure the convention won't be canceled.

I think it'll be fine. The Con isn't until late October, it's mid-September right now. I'm sure things'll be settled down(as much as they can be)by then.

 

Hopefully you all will still be able to have your meet. But, it depends on how things go between now and then. Hopefully, this is the end of it before we retaliate.

I am having a hard time getting a ride....

I'm also going to have a VERY hard time getting money for the aquarium in Novemeber.

LOTR should be no problem(if it's close(solomon pond mall))

Speaking of which, I should be getting one soon. Though Raynham Shaws didn't work out, I'm going to Sharon Shaws and my Dad assures me his manager will hire me and my brother. I think the half hour drive is worth it.

Same with me Bib. It is my destiny to work at a bookstore. There are a few close to my house.

 

The nearest one to me is a good 15 minute drive.

 

I'm waiting for two books from the SFBC. I hope I don't have to wait much longer, I hate waiting.

 

I have all of the six I got for a buck(plus about $13 shipping, but I ain't complaining). I should probably order more soon. Once I'm done reading them.
