As some of you know we are trying to get Celebration III in San Diego despite the odds it may be in Chicago. :_| Please sign this petition, we need all the signitures we can get! Our huge convention center is the perfect place for C3 not to mention thats where the comic con takes place. So help us bring the greatest Star Wars celebration to beautiful San Diego! :D

Sincerely your friends in the Force,
The San Diego Star Wars Society

Well, I could see how it would be a much easier expierence if we were staying in the Marriott or the Hyatt. I mean, they are both less than 200ft from the CC. No having to worry about transit cops and pay parking.

And the Marriott is like the most AWESOME hotel. Stayed there for a conference about 5 years ago...ah the memories.

Yeah, I have had only good expierences at Marriotts. Though, the Hyatt looked pretty darn cool (read: expensive). :)

I'll go, but we're not taking the freaking trolley.

Like I could afford to stay in one of the fancy hotels.

    Oh yeah, that too.

Edit: Maybe if we three put our money together, we could afford a broom closet or something.

Yeah, we could always go the semi-hippie route again.

    Just no trolleys.

Well, the trolley turned out to be the best way to get around the city. Just have to make sure you have what's required. Though, if we were to stay in the nice (read: expensive) hotels right by the CC, we wouldn't need the trolley.

True, but I'm betting those hotels are near the quadruple digits per night. Unless every single one of us is packed into one of those, I don't know how that'll be done.

And no, trolleys are just plain evil.

Actually, (and sadly if you look at it), the prices are comparable to what we payed for the Town and County. Also, they are bound to have Con discounts or something.

Then again, the con could be in Indy, or Chicago, or elsewhere. There is such a thing as too early in planning these things.

    I forgot about that.

Wow, that's going to be a multi-million dollar operation if it's back east.

    Fun, though.
