Petition to put the Droids/Ewoks T.V. series on DVD - please sign here if you'd like these on DVD

I'd love to see a Droids DVD release because I never got to see it the first time around.
Don't care one way or the other about Ewoks though.It was pretty bad.

 

Yes put them out already. They should be releasing these things between movies, while interest is high, not after, when the interest from alot of ppl is going to switch to other things.

 

No no put the Clone Wars on DVD right before Episode 3 comes out, so us poor saps with no Cartoon Network or Hyperspace subscription can see them before the movie.

Me too! The whole Droids and Ewoks series could probably fit one one or two discs apiece. Put the Ewoks TV movies out on DVD as well! There is next to no chance we will see the Holiday Special on DVD tho.

I've got em on VHS and never watch em, why should the DVD be any different? Oh, and btw the Ewoks series is about 9 hours (6x90min tapes) and Droids comes out at about 5½ hours (tapes 1-3x90mins + The Great Heep).

If they wanted to be nice people, they could put the Holiday Special cartoon on the Droids DVD, and save a) them the embarassment of having to release that cack on DVD, and b) us the embarassment of feeling the media pressure to buy that cack on DVD

I have a couple of droids on VHS. They're alright, but get on my nerves a couple of times. Just TOO much for kids. (And I worked in a comic book shop for 10 years.)

They'll NEVER put the x-mas special on dvd. My only hope is to afford a dvd player and record my vhs on it.

What about TROOPS? Add that to the set!

Put them on DVD because I have never seen them.

 

I can hardly bear the shame, but I recorded all of the Droids episodes in the mid-80s, and later taped over them. It wasn't a great show, but for completeness and curiosity value, I would definitely buy the DVD. The Boba Fett cartoon would be a nice extra too.

I'm not too bothered about the Ewoks stuff (although there was one episode where the Empire came to Endor, and Wicket and Kneesaa snuck onto a Star Destroyer and encountered Palpatine that was silly yet kinda cool).

The Mark Hamill episode of The Muppet Show is on Region 2 DVD, and it's, er, interesting

Actually, the Mark Hamill episode of the Muppet Show IS availible widely... I see it at Suncoast Vidio all the time... Look in the kiddy section and you'll find DVD's of the Muppet show, each with three different guests... pretty cool...
