For those of you who find the snacking/toy appeal of Pez well hold onto your R2 unit (Hey hey hey..pg13 here) because they finally made an R2-D2 Pez dispensor. It's a very nice Pez. Oh there's also a Jango (repaint Fett) and a clone trooper that looks a little bit like Jay Leno in profile.

Excellent! I have all the original PEZ dispensers. They're so fun to collect and not expensive. Thanks for posting it Wampas! :)

No problem, we collect both Pez and Star Wars, so a mixture was a good thing for us. So far, the R2 seems to be the hardest to find, especially since they seem to have re-released the other Star Wars Pez.

I can't imagine how an R2 head would work. Is it oblong instead of a half-sphere?

Actually the entire flip back part is an entire R2. It's actually one of the best Pez designs I've seen in a long long while.

Where are you finding these PEZ dispensers?

We found them at Wal-mart and since nearly every Wal-Mart is identical to each other a la McDonald's, try looking at the check out lines. That's where they usually peg the pez.:)
